Their standard have dropped since my last visit before Covid-19.

I recommended and brought my friends for massage at THAI BEST on 30 Apr 2023. We took the 120 mins package consisting of 90 mins foot massage + 30 mins neck, back & shoulder.

(1) My friends and I find that the massage aren't consistent and precise as well as the duration was shortened. For instance, the masseuse could be gone for a few mins and finally returned and my massage session was the first to complete when I was the last to start.

(2) From what I remember of foot massage, is that the focus is not only on the calf. But the masseuse kept rubbing only on a particular area of my left calf until I had to point my sole of my feet to her. Too much of a particular area does result in a little soreness.

(3) No doubt, the room is cozy with big screen and comfortable seats. However, the masseuse was distracted by the show projected on the big screen.

(4) We gave tips yet the masseuses rejected it as one of them even told us that it's very little. The masseuse asked for tips again, but we decided not to give since they don't gladly receive just because it's not of their desired amount. From what we understand, tips is given as a bonus, not mandatory.

Visited Thai best over Deepavali weekend and the service was terrible. I booked a 2hr package (1hr foot reflexology and 1hr aromatherapy) which ended up being 40 min foot and 50min aromatherapy massage. Thai Best’s USP is the movie theatre experience customers get with their foot massage- don’t know what for, because none of the customers were watching the movie (it was dubbed in Bahasa) instead the masseuse were the ones watching the show. I almost wanted to ask my masseuse if she would like to spin the chair around so that she could face the big screen. She was so distracted she stopped massaging every few seconds there was a fight scene or an explosion. Mind you, this was after she dilly-dallied and started the massage 10 mins late and ended 10mins early because the show ended.

The aromatherapy massage was sub-par at best. I was made to lie on a floor mattress, the kind that you have to twist your next to the left or right or risk getting smothered. Again she dilly-dallied getting the towel, washing her hands, drinking water in the middle of the session, and was even chatting with her friends even though there was a keep quiet sign in the room. 1 star, and that’s...

I just went there with my partner today. While I will say both our masseurs skills are good but we were given 90 min massage instead of 2 hours . We were doing different type of massage and hence in separate rooms but both of us complain to our masseur why the timing seems to be shorter. They calculate the time taken to wash our feet , Time taken to wash the towel ( my masseur went 3 times to wash his hands or wash towels etc ) and all these took about 15 min. And my massage ended 5 min early. All in , I was cheated of 20 min. Comparatively , I went to another massage salon yesterday, it was cheaper than Thai best and the masseur also went to wash hands /towels etc like what happened at Thai Best But she didn’t include all these as part of the massage timing and so I was given a full 2 hour massage and hence my massage ended 2hours 20 min later… I gave a big tip ! So lucky because I have another massage salon for comparison, I felt Thai best is cheating customers of their massage package timing.
