Ramen Ten 10 — Restaurant in Batam City

This is a review of Ramen Ten 10 Grand Batam during my visit on August 26 2023

Honestly, I'm pleasantly surprised with the food. I ordered Beef Ramen, karaage, and cold ocha at the time.

The ramen it self is heavily seasoned which is very good, as my experience with Halal ramen in Batam usually the broth barely have any flavor.

The noodle is very fragrant, I don't know how they did it, but I never had a fragrant noodle anywhere. I'm not sure if it's sesame oil or from the noodle it self.

For the meat... Well... The meat it self is pretty good, though not as fulfilling as you'll get few slices of beef.

There's also a little bit of... Mushroom slices(?)/wakame(?) And egg (I honestly forgot if there's egg as the noodle and the broth is really good)

For the karaage, the skin is very crispy and well seasoned. The meat is juicy and tender, cooked perfectly. And a side of shredded cabbage for palate cleanser.

Realised that we have placed an order incorrectly as we had unintentionally selected a beef meal. We almost informed the waitress immediately after she slowly walked away from our table. But was really surprised that cancellation cannot be done even when we told her we don't take beef. Not even when they have not started preparing the food. The excuse given is order was already keyed into the system. What a ridiculous reason to give. I wonder if it is the inflexible order machine that does not allow cancellation, rigid process flow or simply waitresses who are not well-trained or do not even care to do order cancellation for customers who encounter similar...

the food is pretty good, but the service is very bad, very very bad. I've been here a couple of times and the service never change. Took too long for the food to come, some things on the menu is always not there, when I came I didn't even get the menu and my friend have to take the food for us, and once they even brought the wrong food for us, what a shame when they have such a decent and good place, the music choice is good to enjoy food. You know what? Nevermind what I said about the food, I just got my food and the portion is way less than what I got a few months ago when I come here and it taste mid so yeah in conclusion they should really fix their...
