Sup Ikan Yong Kee is a first destination i visited when i arrived in Batam. My dear friends as a tour guide asked us to had a late lunch here. My very early impression when i entered the restaurant is the this place offers simplicity at its finest. They also offer money changing's service inside the restaurant. I ordered a fresh fish soup as the attached picture. What i can say about it is i like how it taste, but it's not a typical food i love the most. I categorize it as kind of comfort food, you may eat it when you need meal to comfort you. However, i highlight the green tomatoes they put as the garnish in the soup. I love it. Oh also, as additional fact, i ate the Otak-Otak. It tastes chewy, soft, moist, and spicy at the same time.
