I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Menoreh Restaurant at Plataran Heritage Borobudur, and it was an unforgettable experience! The variety of food on offer was exceptional, with a perfect mix of international options and authentic Javanese cuisine. The local dishes, in particular, were a highlight—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. From the traditional Nasi Goreng to delightful Javanese sweets, everything tasted delicious and was beautifully presented.

The portions are HUGE. Prices expensive on Jogja standard, but not overpriced considering the quality. The restaurant is within the Plataran hotel, which is beautiful colonial building. The restaurant is spacious and has a big terrace with outdoor seating. The staff is attentive and service very fast on Indonesian standards.
