Stupa Restaurant — Restaurant in Central Java

sharing this review so we can warn other travelers with limited time since this place is practically secluded. not to say that this place is bad whatsoever, but i believe this place can be optimized to give guest a better experience. the restaurant itself is not particularly big but quite spacious, ambience could be nice if not for the so kampungan playlist. they kind of highlighting their paddy field view, you can kinda see it while you eat but unfortunately before the paddy rice there is a parking lot which is kinda distracting. price range from 65-150 (food) before tax, while it is not particulary expensive i would not call it cheap either. i was staying at royal ambarrukmo hotel and compared to the hotel where i stayed the services, and hospitality of staff here is -frankly speaking- very so so. food portion should be quite filling even if its not particularly big. the food is nice but not outstanding. overall this place can be improved in...

The restaurant was good to dine during dinner.

The food were in the standard of Plataran restaurant anywhere, even tasted similar like in Jakarta. With also similar menu to choose from. But again, it is Plataran-standard not like how the locals cooked.

Thus should you prefer local taste, kindly drive yourself to nearby restaurant. We can use google maps or just use google to find a good one.

Service was good, just like we experienced during breakfast.

Price-wise, this is Plataran. A five-star hotel. Expect a higher price compare to local restaurant.

But overall, we will only return to Plataran in Jakarta. We dine here in Heritage only during our visit....
