Ninety Six Bakery — Restaurant in City of Medan

Definitely the best brownies I've had so far in Medan. Moist and somewhat pliable, less cake-like and more brownie-like. They sell a combo package of 16-pieces with different toppings including Oreo, cheese (a popular combo in Medan), and cashew.

Equally decadent are their bombolonis - filled donuts dusted with bakers sugar. The donuts are light and airy and there are lots of options for fillings. Strawberry (jam) is good, the nutella is very rich, but the plain, unfilled ones are also amazing.

Be aware when ordering the bombolonis that there is an additional charge if you don't want original style, but then there is also a charge for each particular filling you select per donut. This can increase the price very quickly!

Ordered their Chocolate Birthday Cake thru whatsapp, their response was nice and fast enough. I could even place my order just one day before the due date. The cake taste great, but kinda too sweet for me. Probably will repurchase and try their famous bomboloni next time.

The most complicated, confusing, frustrating, customer service I have experienced. Bakery products are pretty good and tasty. Odd that cannot buy 1 cinnamon roll (they only sell in twos … !)
