Maintaining consistent quality across chain restaurants is always a challenge, and unfortunately, this outlet is a good example of that struggle. Taste-wise, the food was marginally acceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. Most of the noodle dishes were bit salty, which threw off the balance. The Yangzhou Fried Rice and the Chinese Lo Bak Go were the only standouts, both tasted as they should.
However, presentation leaves much to be desired. Just take a look at the photos. The noodles weren’t even folded properly into the soup bowl, and the condiments looked like they were thrown in at random. It resembled a hawker stall presentation more than that of a sit-down restaurant. The Stir-Fried Kai Lan with Ginger was another letdown. It came with large, uneven chunks of ginger instead of thinly sliced or julienned pieces. This screams of an untrained kitchen assistant. But the most disappointing part of the meal? The dim sum. The Signature Dynasty 8 Flavours Xiao Long Bao looked like they had been through a rough day, one was leaking, some looked shriveled, and overall, it was just a sad presentation for what’s supposed to be your flagship dish. Read moreWorst experience ever. While having dinner on the first day of chinese new year it was a total disaster. Poor management of staff and food control. Every customer expect their food to be served together not 1 by 1. we have a total of 9 adults and 2 kids. everyone finished their food and the last dish was the tofu was not served yet Asked the waiter twice and they say not ready. Asked the 3rd time and told them if its not ready please do cancel them as we had finished our food and ready to go. Suddenly the dish came while all the plate is empty and we are done having our dinner. The Best part is that even its not our fault we are not allowed to cancel anything. If the food is late and you can't wait you will be "FORCED" to take away the food and eat it somewhere else. Hello ??? whats the point for us to come to your restaurant and dine in?? This is totally poor management and food control. While they have so many staff wondering around here and there, chit chatting. I will not step in this place again....
Read moreNewly renovated with modern concept dine in place. One of the best lamien / noodle in town. Hot big bowl noodle as comfort food. Suitable for children and elders or big family to dine in here. I also like their fried rice especially Yang Zhou Fried Rice is one of my favourite. Nice chinese taste of foods, always queue up on weekends. Make sure to book or come earlier to avoid a long queue. They got several big round table for 10-12 person. You can see their chef making noodle and xiao long bao live from their open kitchen concept. Their staff are also really helpful. Too bad is their food price such as noodle and fried rice keep rising every years. 1 bowl of lamien samcan premium cost Rp 118K now (tax not included). So according to me its quite pricey...
