Bandar Tuna Sanur (BTS) — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

I visited Bandar Tuna Sanur mainly because I was curious about the name. A place that focuses only on tuna? I didn’t expect much and thought it might just be so so. But I was surprised because the food turned out to be really tasty!

I came around 10 AM for brunch, and the food came out quite fast, but still nicely cooked and fresh.

My favorite menu was the Tuna Woku Belanga, its savory, flavorful, and the soup went really well with warm rice. Super comforting, especially if you’re into local-style flavors.

The fried tuna wonton was also a nice pick, it’s crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the spicy peanut sauce served with it made it even better. Really tasty without being too heavy.

Other menu items also looked good, and the prices are very affordable, ranging from around Rp10.000 to Rp65.000, which is pretty great for the quality you get.

The place has a cool and unique setup, with some dining areas made from rattan shaped like fish. It’s clean, has plenty of seating, and the parking area is wide, so it’s easy if you come with a car.

Literally one of the best tuna steaks I've ever had! And sate tuna is amazing as well! Must try! Prices are really comfortable, even tho they've got 11% extra tax, but it's still pretty fine. The steak (dada tuna bakar) was large and delicious, you'll love the local seasonings. And it wasn't too spicy as I requested.

But the only one small concern… they don't remove the fish scales… so it looks like a steak but when you're taking a bite, all the scales are going right into your mouth. It's not a big problem, but it's weird. So I believe, it'd be quite better if you descale the fish...

Great Place to eat if you loved eating Tuna. We tried this restaurant once and found it amazing. Their menu is not in wide variety with very affordable prices for the great restaurant setting. They even offer a discount too, so the food become really cheap. the food serves fast and the staff is really helpful. I highly recommend the Tuna satay and the package. The location is close to Sanur harbor (Pelabuhan Sanur) so the traffic might be very busy or jammed if you come in...
