I do not recommend this cafe unless something is done to change the kitchen hygiene practice. On 1/9 around 1pm, we stepped into the restaurant and ordered two black rice gluttonous rice dessert with coconut milk. We were looking forward to the dessert on a hot day. Then the wait became long (more than 30mins). But never mind. What made matter worst was I happened to look up and saw the staff preparing our desert (somehow I made the correct guess) just put the stirring spoon into his mouth completely. Then he went over to he stove to stir something which happened to be the coconut milk with the same spoon! I couldn’t believe my eyes. Lo and behold, he also used he same sooon to scoop up the coconut milk to pour on our dessert bowls… I couldn’t help but gave immediate feedback to the manager (I think). I pointed the staff concerned to the manager. Although he apologised and offered to replace ye dessert, the staff concerned didn’t even come out to apologise. a We cancelled the order and left.. we don’t know how many customers have been served extra ingredient from...
Read moreWe had lunch at Little Eeden Sanur twice. The first one was when we were waiting our boat to Nusa Penida, the second one after we got back from Nusa Penida. They have excellent service, they gave us the fresh towels and welcome drinks. It's our first time getting this service in Bali. Very considerate!
Our second visit, we had a chance to talk with the Chef, Pak Agung. He sincerely asked us about the foods we ordered. We gave input to improve the foods. As an Indonesian, I know how the foods are supposedly served and tasted. He understood my feedback and appreciated my input. Nothing wrong with the foods, Pak Agung and his team know their jobs. Very well done!
I would recommend you to eat here anytime, especially when you catch up your boats to the islands. Food quality, price, portion, presentation are excellent. I don't get paid for this, I am happy to share my experience.
The photos we uploaded here when we had our 2nd lunch. The coconut was our 1st lunch. We totally forgot to capture our first meals, because we were too...
Read moreWe chose Little Eeden Sanur Bar and Restaurant based on its excellent reviews, as we wanted to grab a meal before our trip to Nusa Lembongan. Our order included a fruit platter, a Margherita pizza, and a sandwich with fries, accompanied by drinks.
The order was taken swiftly, and the food arrived promptly. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making the dining experience pleasant. The food itself met the expectations for a typical tourist spot.
The pizza, however, appeared to have a pre-frozen crust that was just topped and baked. Unusually, the salad was added on top after baking. The sandwich was generously filled, but the bread, in typical local fashion, was very soft. The fries were satisfactory, though they could have been crispier.
The staff were accommodating to individual requests, which was appreciated. Additionally, the restrooms were very clean. The prices were reasonable, making Little Eeden a solid choice for...
