Beer Brothers — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

Oh dear. Disappointing food, poor quality ingredients, overpriced for what it is. We ordered 2 chicken fried rice hot pots - the rice was old, maybe this morning’s or maybe even yesterday’s, with a few pieces of chewy chicken, a piece of cheese omelette (weird), 2 cubes of avocado and some grotty-looking lettuce. We also ordered a chicken steak sandwich which was so salty and accompanied by a small ‘salad’ drenched in dressing, inedible. Lastly, chicken and cheese quesadilla which despite its appearance, actually tasted ok, and a miniature-sized portion of fries. Napkins are bathroom paper towels and the place is alive with mosquitoes. A real shame as this place looks pretty good from the road and takes a bit of real estate. I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at this restaurant. Despite the place being nearly empty, I waited over 30 minutes for my food. Even worse, I was asked to pay for a dish that hadn’t even been prepared, simply because I had a flight to catch. They gave me the choice to either wait longer or still pay without getting the food. This is absolutely unacceptable. I was willing to pay, but the unprofessional behavior and lack of basic customer care were shocking. I strongly urge the owner to seriously address the staff’s attitude and how this restaurant is managed. Definitely not...

Beer brothers was just what we needed after disembarking an eventful boat trip out! Stumbled on this place accidentally walking away from the harbour. The food was lovely and the beers were well recieved. Pricing was reasonable and if it wasn't so far from our accommodation we would probably visit again. Service was quick, I was surprised that we were the only people there at the time although may have arrived at a early time. Word of warning, the spicy food is spicy! Was lovely but was paying for my dish choice with a runny nose and stinging lips afterwards. Would still order it again however...
