Junglegold Chocolate Sanur (Pod Chocolate) — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

My brother bring me and my mom to buy the chocolate as a gift for our family and friends.

Pro's: The chocolate was delicious, had a variations from 64% to 100% dark chocolate with unique taste. Safe to consume for diabetics people like my mom. Each products had every sample so we can choose the product that we like.

Today we get free ice chocolate drink (delicious too) as a promo because we bought more than 2 products. Thanks to one of the woman staff who help us and giving a recommendation. She's very kind to my mom and had good product knowledge. We definitely recommend this product to our family and friends.

Cons : The first staff who welcomed us is not friendly. I'm okay if I need to serve by myself and need to do "some research" by reading every products and choose what I'll bought. But please, be more kind and gently to a older customer when my mom asking about the ingredients of the products.

Sometimes the customer confused and will asking the same question to make sure the products that we bought is the one that we wanted because we bought the chocolates not only for us, but as a gift for our family member and friends. I thought (husnuzon) that staff had a strict character because she need to maintain COVID-19 protocols, but why she helped the foreigner customer more kindly than us who's local one? 😅

My mom feel disappointed, even saying that we came here to buy not to steal and we almost leave. But gladly one of the staff "taking over" and help us more.

Nevertheless, i hope this review become criticisms for the company to be a more better.

Ps : So there's no apologies or respond to this awful behavior. Well i choose to change it into...

It's good to buy chocolates from the factory itself rather than bali airport because at the airport it's double its factory rate.

This is a must visit place in bali for chocolates lovers, and really, you will find all types of chocolates here with multiple flavors and a variety of chocolates and coffee's. Must try OAT Milk and Cafe mocha flavors.

You will get a chance to try all types of chocolates as a trial basis, and you won't regret it if you buy chocolates and coffee from here. The ambiance is good and you will love this place and you might get a chance to see the making of chocolates and cocoa fruit or plant outside the factory.

Don't go with the price of the chocolates its cheapest in terms of price...

Whilst the experience of seeing the pods growing on trees and making a chocolate bar was fun for the kids, some of the chocolate we took away was ‘sour’ and inedible by the time we tried it a few days later. The response from our complaint was totally inadequate! They investigated and that bar code was fine, it was our taste! We bought quite a few bars and we were only complaining about 4….not the best way to deal with customers. I asked for email for manager and am still waiting 10 days later despite request being read.The chocolate was bad, the response was inadequate and I would not return. If I had still been on Bali the chocolate would have been returned but we were not....
