Awful Experience! I spent over $1000 with this shop on Etsy. One of the shipments arrived with cracks. Another was missing hardware. On top of that, UPS asked for taxes at my door despite me having paid those taxes when I ordered the shipment. Another one of the shipments that included two hanging molten lava glass on wood were defective. One was completely cracked. The other had the same type of crack line but seemed intact at the time but I could not hang it as the seller failed to provide the rope to do so. The seller promised to send me a replacement for the first one but while waiting for the seller to make a new one, the other one also cracked (see attached pics) while it was hanging with water in it which it is what it was advertised to be able to do. Luckily i caught it before it fell. I immediately notified him of this issue and sent pictures. He committed to replacing it for me. He sent me photos of a few replacement options but they also had the same crack lines in the wood (see attached) so I knew they weren’t safe and would eventually fail as well. Thus, I asked him to remake them. After this, he ignored my messages and I had to threaten to request a refund w Etsy in order to get a response. He finally responded after this and agreed to a full refund. However after he reviewed his records, he realized that the second item cracked after 3 months of purchase and he then said he would only refund me for half and would not refund me the tax or shipping fees he charged me either. This is extremely unscrupulous for a company to look for a loophole to not refund a customer when they already promised a full refund for both items. He claimed and I quote “While they are advertised as decorative vessels capable of holding water, external conditions such as climate, temperature, and handling can sometimes cause unexpected stress cracks.” This was his excuse for not backing up his work. He is supposed to be a craftsman. Yet, his work doesn’t hold up for 3 months? That’s crazy. And he refused to honor the full refund he already committed to. This item was in my house holding water and could have fallen and caused great harm to my other furniture, flooring and more importantly my family members. This is not the kind of quality of work you would expect of a company that charges so much for their product. Furthermore, his behavior is astonishing that he would knowingly find a loophole to not fully refund me despite his promise to do so. He has put me through great stress over this issue and seems to care less about it. Therefore, I highly recommend NOT buying from this seller as you never know how his product will hold up after 3 months and he will try to find a loophole to not...
