A delicious and affordable plant-based cafe in Sanur! They offer a wide variety of healthy and flavorful options, all made with fresh, homemade ingredients locally sourced from Bali land. As for drinks, they offer free refills for ice cubes, water, and rosella tea.
On the first floor, they have Indoor and outdoor area. You will sit by the pizza fireplace if you choose to sit outdoor, breezy and a fun spot. With their self clean table policy, you have to put your plates and glass on the designated bins once you’re with the meals, so don’t forget to clean up your table before leaving!
I love that this place has something for everyone, whether you're looking for a hearty meal or a light snack or even just a cup of coffee. I always order their Mi Aiam, which is absolutely delicious. Again, all plant-based, no oil, no white sugar!
Their gelato is also top notch, made with all-natural ingredients, many flavors, not too sweet yet you can still enjoy them very much. My go-to gelato is their sea salt with cones. And for the breads, I choose roti isi minced bif if you like savory, and roti bantal vanilla or chocolate cookies for the sweets.
I can go on and on and on about this place. They are THAT awesome!
Another thing I love about KOOD is how thoughtful they are with adding so many additional features to make visitors comfortable, such as spacious parking lot, mushola, clean toilets, 2nd floor souvenir shops (don’t forget to purchase Kood’s Koodapan homemade snacks and cookies, could be an anti-mainstream souvenir to bring from Bali). These are huge pluses, especially if you're visiting during peak...
Read morefirst. one question: do your cookies contain dairy? because I've tried the same cookie twice on two different occasions and they both caused me trouble. my body can't process dairy and I thought your cookies were plant-based?
second. this is super weird. I asked if I could have my drinks for takeaways and the staff said I could. apparently I couldn't. there's no way I can take away two cups of cold drinks in paper cups without anything to hold! my hands are full and how can I take them home then? I ride a motorbike, where and how would I take them away without any bag? even if I bring a car, I need to put them somewhere! you charge Rp2,000 for paper cups, okay. how about some cup holders that actually work?
pfft. we definitely have different opinions on what takeaway means. next time, don't say that we can take away drinks because we certainly cannot!
kudos to the helpful staff who gave me a plastic bag to hold those cups. otherwise, I would have had to take them away with both my hands and walk home, leaving my bike in the parking lot.
😂
kocak.
food wise? nothing extraordinary. I like the mie aiam jamur though, a bit bland but not bad. the rest is meh. the banana bread is awful omg I couldn't take more than two bites. and the chizburger is the worst thing I've ever had. I had to go to McDonald's to make...
Read moreThis café offers a variety of vegan dishes in a cozy, relaxing environment. On my visit, I decided to try their peanut-flavored gelato, and it turned out to be an excellent choice.
The peanut flavor was rich and natural, not overly sweet, with a smooth and creamy texture. It felt like enjoying real peanuts in frozen form, which made it even more satisfying. I was pleasantly surprised by the price—only 15,000 IDR—making it an affordable yet high-quality treat. I wouldn’t mind coming back just for this!
Beyond desserts, KooD also serves a range of vegan meals, including plant-based burgers, fresh salads, pasta, and homemade bread. The variety ensures that there’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a light snack or a full meal.
The atmosphere is another highlight. The greenery creates a calm and inviting space. It’s a great spot to unwind, meet up with friends, or even get some work done. I noticed a few people working on their laptops, which shows that the environment is comfortable enough for both relaxation and productivity.
Overall, KooD is a great place for anyone looking for tasty vegan food in a relaxed setting. The peanut gelato was a standout, and I look forward to trying more from their menu...
