La Prissa Bali — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

This is a beautiful restaurant close to where I live. We tried to experience it this evening but were let down by poor service.

After getting the menus we ordered 2 cocktails to wait over 5 minutes to be told they only had numbers 1-3 on the cocktail list. This seemed very poor but hey never mind. We ordered 2 Mojito's.

20 minutes later the 5 staff at the bar ( 3 waiters and 2 behind the bar ) failed to produce the drinks. On asking I was told it would be a further 5 minutes.

We left at this point. We did not want to see how long food took.

There is a 21% tax and service which equates to an 11% service charge which is at a level I expect 5 star service.

The potential is here and maybe we came on a bad night. We will certainly try once more. The place is beautiful, the menu extensive, the staff well presented and polite. The efficiency is...

So disappointing after reading the reviews. Pizza was like a frozen, reheated Digorno. The crust was obviously store-bought and tasteless. And it wasn’t what we ordered. Spring rolls were very much style over substance.

The Shirley Temple was 80% syrup, and far too sweet. Also, there was no availability of non-alcoholic drinks other than smoothies and juice and mocktails.

Despite our turning on a fan, the flies were annoying and prevalent.

If you're looking for a great place to relax and unwind, this place is definitely worth checking out.
