We stayed here for one night and it was out last stop for our 2 week trip to Bali. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at - it is definitely true that you get what you pay for. It is very cheap - about 20 pounds (410k rupiah) for a night, however it lacks basic amenities and do not expect what you see on the website. We had a 4 person room. As we walked to our room there was a large group of local Indonesians sitting and socialising directly opposite us. They stayed there all night playing cards and you could hear every word they said - it felt like they were in the same room as us. The dynamic was very strange - I'm not sure of this was their "socialising spot" or if they lived in one if the rooms above the ground floor hotel rooms. As expected - a terrible set up where there is no chance of getting any sleep. ||||Some further factors to put you off - they only provide one small towel each after you arrive - slightly larger than a large hand towel. There was no bathroom mat or towels provided so after a shower the floor is soaking wet and does not dry. The room smelt a bit damp when we walked in as well. ||||The hotel could do with a lot of maintenance in the rooms - we had no bedside tables on one side of the bed, no table lamps so the only lighting is 2 spotlights. There was barely any toilet roll when we arrived and the toilet flush stopped working within the first hour. Also the walls are all scuffed, there is mould in the bathroom and the bedding was dirty on both beds - so we had to asked for sheets to be changed. There is a small mounted tv - where the signal is dodgy, no wardrobes/storage, no safe and no hotel restaurant. So definitely don't expect breakfast here. ||||Half the staff can't speak English so if you want some help there are 2 helpful ladies. And one other upside was that the air conditioning was effective. However I would strongly recommend that you should not stay at this hotel should you wish to have a...
Read moreI would say its value for money in the sense that it charge a lower rate as it probably targets budget traveler. There is no evident of the hotel going for excellence in service or furnishings but for travelers who only need a decent place to sleep when they want to nothing much to complain about. there are a lot of services that other hotels provide that this hotel does not but ask and based on our experience you might not be disappointed.||Location of the hotel is wonderful as it is not too near the beach and the possible commotions of the numerous ceremonies but again not too far. The few buildings were spaced with pleasant trees and ornamental plants in between.||If the hotel decided to upgrade, it can easily do so with just some interior decoration and service...
Read moreAs a young backpacker I wasn't expecting much but the rooms are nothing like the photos which was a shame and in the four nights we stayed here the room was not cleaned once. Neither were the towels or bed linen changed. The staff could speak very poor English but went out of their way to help us when we needed help. They were lovely! When we arrived our room was covered in ants so they sprayed some bug killer which seemed to do the trick. The rooms are incredibly basic and dated with only one plug socket and dirty walls and what quickly became a dirty floor and bathroom as it wasn't cleaned. There was no wardrobe, fridge or place to put any belongings over than the dirty floor. A basic hotel is fine for us but it wasn't what we were expecting at all from the photos so it...
