Just to clarify, Warung Made Weti is the same venue as Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Weti. There may have been a name change somewhere along the lines of the original owner passing away. You are in for an absolute treat if you experience the delicious street food from this vendor.

Get in early to beat the rush cause every bite is worth it. One of my favourite places to eat traditional and authentic food in Sanur. Street food is not for the faint hearted, but when in Bali tick this eatery off your bucket list. If you’re in the neighbourhood, I highly recommend. My partner and I road a scooter to the beachside eatery (many parking spots available in front of venue) and stopped at this place for breakfast. Flavours are like nothing you can compare to in Melbourne - unless you’re fortunate enough to have home cooked Balinese meals. The people are friendly and to the best of their ability use their limited English to guide you through every dish. Good serving sizes left me full for hours and walking distance from...

One of the few warungs in Denpasar that still holds on to its authenticity. The menu is simple, the one and only Nasi Campur Ayam. The portion is just right, and the signature sides like urap timun, crispy chicken skin, and sambal make it special.

Some people comment about hygiene since the servers don’t use gloves, but honestly that’s part of the authentic charm for me. The server only handles the food anyway, and of course, if hygiene is a concern, you can always choose not to eat here 😊

The downsides are definitely the limited seating and the chaotic queue system. And I understand if you’re hungry and still have to wait in line, it can be annoying. But again, that’s kinda the part of the experience that makes this warung unique 😁

As a local, I find Men Weti truly special. Somehow it has that nostalgic taste that keeps me coming back whenever I pass through Sanur. Sure, improvements wouldn’t hurt, but let’s just enjoy it as it is. At IDR 25–30k per portion, I’d say it’s still...

Just in point form : The price is looks like follow your skin color. The way the food is prepared is dirty. The service is super sucks and the owner is so unfriendly. The dining condition and experience is super terrible for the price you pay, service you get and the taste. Taste is just normal imho - nothing to shout about; only thing is the veges are fresh. For the tonnes of monies they make each day for so many years, they could not even care less of investing in a nicer place to eat, sit and serve. Imagine just 2 or 3 donkey tables. Does not even bother prepare proper tables for the customers. Customers have to sit on the plastic stool and hold the plate to eat. No place to wash hands and no toilet.

It's a warung, we get it but for the prices they charge, they dont even provide basic warung facilities to customers.

JUST ANOTHER GREEDY "RESTAURATEUR"...

Just had my first proper meal at Warung Men Weti in Sanur and now I totally get why people rave about it. I ordered the full plate with rice, shredded chicken, crispy skin, egg, sambal, peanuts, and a mix of veggies, and every bite was full of flavor. The sambal had just the right amount of heat, enough to kick in but still enjoyable, and the mix of textures from the crispy chicken skin to the tender meat and crunchy peanuts was spot on. Even though the place was packed, service was quick and the food came out fresh. There’s something really comforting about the meal, like it’s been made with the same care and recipe for decades. It’s simple but done really well, nothing fancy, just good honest food that hits the spot. I finished the whole plate without even realizing because it was that good. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Sanur.

First of all, i can find way more better "nasi campur" then this. And why the hell it took so long??? Like it is a total chaos! No one take your order, you just wait until somebody pass by and hopefully he/she will remember you are waiting. Me, myself, wait for 1 hour for ice tea and another 30 minute for the food which is not that worth the time you've waited! Here a solution for you (the owner of men weti) if you read this. 1. Let people wait in line, instead of let them wait for your employee which by the way only a few, so they have a certainty of their waiting. 2. Take order, give your customer a number, then you prepare the food based on their count. Then call their number so they can take the food. Instead of bringing uncertain amount of food to random people and ask "any of you haven't get food yet?" That's it!
