Tukies, the Ice Cream Coconut Shop in ICON Mall, Sanur, Bali, is a hidden gem that everyone should check out. From the moment you see the shop, it stands out with its charming and tropical vibe. The architecture is eye-catching yet cozy, perfectly blending a fun, tropical aesthetic with a chill and welcoming atmosphere. The coconut-themed decorations, from paintings to little accents around the store, make it feel incredibly unique and memorable. It’s just such a cute place—it’s hard not to smile when you’re there!

The service at Tukies is another highlight. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and I was genuinely impressed by how quickly they served the orders. Despite the speed, the quality of the food was impeccable—everything was so fresh!

I tried their coconut ice cream served on top of brownies, and it was divine. However, the brownies with ice cream are quite sweet, making them perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth—you’ll absolutely love this indulgent treat! I also ordered a traditional drink called daluman, which features coconut milk, jelly bits, and palm sugar. It was refreshing and flavorful, and for those who prefer less sweetness, the staff can separate the palm sugar syrup so you can adjust it to your liking. It’s a thoughtful touch that makes the experience even better.

On top of their desserts and drinks, Tukies also offers a variety of coconut-based products you can buy and take home. Whether it’s snacks, ingredients, or other coconut delights, there’s something for everyone to enjoy even after leaving the shop.

Overall, Tukies offers a fantastic experience that blends delicious food, great service, and a beautiful setting. I will definitely be visiting again whenever I’m at ICON Mall or in Sanur, Bali. As an ice cream lover, I really enjoy Tukies because it’s unique and has such an authentic menu. Very Balinese, very Indonesian, with coconut as the star ingredient. I’ve tried the outlets at Icon Mall and Beachwalk, and it’s always a delightful treat. My go-to favorites are the Classic and the Wafer Roll ice cream, just one scoop is enough to boost my mood.

Their stores in Ubud are my favourite; where Tukies started and I personally think they serve the best coconut ice cream I have ever tasted. My normal order is for the half coconut with 1 scoop of ice cream. The coconut will be split inside the store. It comes garnished with roasted coconut flakes ( which you can purchase to take home amongst other coconut products ) and some coconut cream. A spoon to also help scoop out the thin delicious coconut flesh to enjoy with the ice cream. So so yummy ! I will return...
