🌟 Food Review + Ambiance Vibes
📍Location Vibes: The place has a casual yet warm aesthetic—perfect for a relaxed meal. The dark marble tabletop adds a rich, classy touch to the dining experience, complementing the earthy, home-style food. It’s the kind of spot where the focus is on flavor and comfort.
🍛 Food Experience: From the moment the food hit the table, the aroma alone hinted at bold spices and rich tradition. The star of the show was the crispy, golden fried bread—flaky and perfect with each bite of the masala-rich curries. Each plate offered something exciting, from spicy, saucy gravies to a refreshing shredded cabbage salad that balanced the meal beautifully.
🔥 Highlights: • Generous portions and authentic flavors. • The parottas were layered and perfectly fried. • The masala dishes (likely chicken or paneer) were deeply spiced, rich in texture, and full of character. • Cabbage salad was a cool and refreshing contrast.
🎨 Aesthetic Touch: Simple yet effective. No over-the-top plating, just soul-satisfying food in a down-to-earth setting. It gives off a “hidden gem” vibe—local, comforting, and totally Instagram-worthy in its own rustic way.

Read moreSmall, quaint, just off the beaten track, this little Warung is a surprise oasis. Instantly you can tell effort and planning has gone into this family business. Hydroponic herb garden, nice little elevated dining areas set amongst the garden, small attention to detail everywhere. Menu was simple but with a wide variety of pizza, pasta as well as Indonesian options. Of course we came for the pizza. Prices were very reasonable. We chose three large pizzas and a small for the kids. Bases not a topical thin base but close. Cheese was nicely melted and browned. Digging in and OMG, these were great. It didn't take long and three pizzas were all polished off. Bloody great!!! Exceptional even. At the end of our feed the chief and owner visited us to check that all was ok. Very nice guy, turn out he was an ex school teacher who also did dishes in a restaurant. His story and journey to Papa pizza was as enjoyable as his pizzas. I won't steal his thunder you can hear it from him yourself. In all a magic little Warung with good atmosphere, good and service. A great breakaway from our Indonesian dinning while maintaining that balanise charm and service. Do yourself a favour, step off the main drag and seek...
Read moreToo early to have pizza, so when we came here for brunch; we ordered Vegetarian Fried Rice and Bread with Scrambled Egg. The price is so affordable, more or less we know it's not going to be large portion.
The Scrambled Egg is perfectly served with nice bread. The fried rice is so so, with mostly slices of carrots and lots of cabbage. Definitely need to return here to try the pizza.
Other than to try the pizza, I will also return here to enjoy the well-tended garden, personally taken care by the owner. We sat on a table in the back, next to the fish pond., close enough to sit and watch the fish go around and admiring the bonsai. Being surrounded by the sound of water and greens in all shapes and sides are one of a kind experience. Perfect spot for long brunch or chats with good friends, or to enjoy a good book.
The location is easy to find for those who walk or on motorbike. Being away from the main street, this place is quiet. Another luxury!
The people with car have to park somewhere then walk here. Limited parking available for 2 to 3 motorbikes inside the premise.
Service is warm and extremely friendly, the kind that makes you feel...
