Today, I visited Bron Café and tried a mixed berry smoothie bowl alongside a matcha latte. Overall, the smoothie bowl was good – refreshing and flavorful, just right for a light meal. While I enjoyed it, I’d personally recommend their dragon fruit smoothie bowl instead; it’s even more vibrant, and from my previous experience, slightly better in taste. Still, the mixed berry option was enjoyable and didn't disappoint.

As for the matcha latte, it wasn’t quite up to my expectations. It tasted a bit bland, especially when compared to other matcha lattes I’ve had before, and it was on the pricier side. But if you’re not too particular about matcha, it’s a decent option.

Where Bron Café really shines, though, is in its ambiance and service. The café is lush with greenery, creating a tranquil, spacious, and refreshing atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding or working in peace. The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive, always ready with a warm smile and helpful guidance.

If you have been in Indonesia 30-40 years ago and lucky enough to travel outside big cities, then this place is nostalgic and bring you straight back to the verdant, green, humid, and simple life is. Beautiful setup that was common way back then but a rare gem nowadays. It may not have all the electrical plug for working but this is a good place to unwind alone, with friends, or family. They have children play ground. Truly a friendly place.

The food - simple menu, some western and local fare. Everything was prepared and served like it used too. All the juices are loaded with ice and sugared, matcha was sweet, and they still put extra sugar on the side. I wasn’t expecting that in Sanur but it brought back memories.
