Picnic! Pasta x Sausage — Restaurant in Depok

This is my go-to place whenever I want something that feels a bit fancy, but I'm on a tight budget. I'm so glad this place exists!

It's a really comfortable spot, perfect for a date with your partner and also very photogenic. Since it's tucked away in an alley, you don't get all the noise from the street. This makes it an ideal place for workers and students to focus on their tasks.

I've been a regular here since their food prices were around 18k - 25k. They've gone up a bit now, but it's still very budget-friendly. AND THEIR ICE TEA IS INSANE—you get a whole pitcher! They also offer large-scale orders if you're planning an event. The service is great, and they have a loyalty program where you can earn stamps or points for a bonus after a few visits.

Hidden gem for your pasta crave! Literally hidden because the place is small with lot of food and snack stalls around. Great taste, with cheap price.

It's surprisingly good even though they're using milk instead of cream.

Choose the pasta that you like (spaghetti, fettuccine, penne, fussili) and then the menu. The pasta itself cooked just perfect al dente

Very little meat or smoked beef, or mushroom, but can't complain since the price is lower than most places which serves pasta.

Strong herb (oregano) aroma cos they sprinkle it on top of the pasta no matter what the menu is. If you don't like it, like most local people who don't seem to like the strong smell of the "foreign" aroma , better...

Back again kita reviews jajanan yang masih di sekitaran jogja.

Kali ini kita Cobain Picnic!! pasta....

Disini kita memesan 1 pasta carbonara dan arrabiata. 😋 Sejenak sebelum datang saya melamunkan makanan disini mungkin akan lebih dari beberapa pesaing penghidang pasta lain seperti UHT!, aroma italia atau lainya. Tapi kedapatan yang saya rasakan agak membuat saya ragu utk meng-comparing pasta disini dg para pesaing.

Pasta Carbonara terasa terlalu manis, bahkan terkesan dikasi kental manis (I hope i was wrong). Sedangkan Arrabiata nya hmm suspicious.... apakah ini pasta goreng jawa? 😆 (Red: bakmie goreng jawa). Karena selain teksture nya memang segaring itu rasa dan sensation pedas nya mengingatkan saya akan bakmie jawa pak Pele wkwkwk. Ga tau juga ya... apakah ini benar atau salah tapi preferences orang sangat lah berbeda. Karena setau saya arrabiata ini wujudnya tetap dg cream tapi lebih spicy karena kaya rempah, bukan yang semena Mena kering bagaikan bakmie jawa.

Tak lupa kita juga memesan side dish yang kalau tak salah title nya chicken sausage with cheese cream. Agak shyok saat tiba ini sausage ala2 sosis so nice digoreng dadakan dan diberi parutan keju aja begitu. No wonder ini membuat segala rasa manis semakin maniezt.

For beverages ku minum peach 🍑 tea yang alhamdulillah nya berasal dari @DilmahTea jadi lumayan mendukung, setelah jamuan rasa yang serba maniezt dan terkesan agak out of theme barusan wkwkwk.

Tempatnya cozy full of tumbuh2 an hijau dan cenderung terbatas yaa... walau begitu tempat ini tetap lah ramai dg harga menu yg 11:12 dg UHT mungkin menjadi power khusus.

Keseluruhan, utk makanan ok but not that wonderful, tempat juga Mayan lah buat menikmati suapan demi suapan pasta nya. Akan tetapi bukan lah typically tempat utk nongki krn asap masakan kemana2 dan space nya terbatas tersebut.
