Aahh Abuba Steak, a legendary steak-house that started out-of-house back in 90's, now blooming into countless restaurants spreads through out Jakarta.
This particular place armed with plenty parking lots and a decent number of people eating at any given time. I rarely see this place full to the brim. So, i doubt you need a reservation.
Price wise, well, meh. Most meals starts from 50K and goes to the wildest 200K+. Frankly speaking there are other place which have a 200gr steak looks like it really has 200gr steaks served on their plates, but nothing worst then Fiesta's.
The taste? I'd say their steak are at 5 where 10 i reserved for Gandhy's or other Anguses House and 3 is for Fiesta's. Their sauce looks more like a thicken soup. Piece of advice, if you're in a hurry, go for the steak don't go for their beef stroganoff it needs more then 20 minutes to serve.

Read moreStaff got the steaks and potato sides wrong. So our steaks cooking levels got swapped. The server seemed to have our orders correct in the receipt but I assume it's the kitchen that messed up.
I asked another server if our steaks got swapped but he wasn't able to answer and had to bring it to the kitchen to ask which steak is which. Turns out it was wrong and he ended up asking if we'd like them replaced but I said no need.
It's nice that he offered but the tone of his voice made me feel sorry for asking a replacement so I just said no. So just a hospitality advice from a server myself, when offering a replacement be more insistent and apologetic as well as remember what all the food looks like.
The steak was alright at best, mushroom sauce needs more taste, but the lasagna was nice. The restroom was icky and some of the lights were off including the abuba steak sign.
Overall we had a decent experience but there is much to be improved. Hope the place improves in...

Empuk dimakan Pilih salmon steak. Minta jangan terlalu kering tapi jangan terlalu basah juga, kaya medium. Pas salmonnya dateng, kematangannya pas, ga mentah tapi ga kering mateng Pilih hot chocolate pas dateng chocolate milkshake. Pas bilang salah menu dan minta tolong dituker, staffnya bilang minta maaf salah antar. 22 juni balik lagi ke abuba karena ada promo hut jakarta Awalnya seneng karena dapat paket chicken steak + lemon tea diskon 50%. Tapi agak berakhir sedikit kecewa karena pelanggan 1 yang pesan take away, tapi jadi pelanggan terakhir yang ambil pesanan. Karena paket yang sudah jadi, yang seharusnya buat saya, malahan di kasih ke customer lain yang belinya lebih sedikit. Sempat tanya ke karyawannya, kenapa pesanan saya lama jadinya sedangkan pelanggan lain yang datangnya setelah saya udah dapat duluan. Kan paket promonya sama.
