Anomali Coffee Setiabudi — Restaurant in Jakarta

I don't have any comment on Food and Beverage, they're good and tasty.

But I think Anomali coffee has issue with their delivery service or order-taking service in general. It happens twice already, we ordered in bundle, 6 cups of coffee and 7 pastries, we received: 6 cups and 6 pastries, minus 1 pastry.

The other day, they missed 1 cup of coffee but complete pastries. It is so annoying that we have to make a phone call, confirmed it to the restaurant, and waiting for the restaurant to send the replacement! THIS SHOULD NEVER EVER HAPPENED as it wasted so much time to both parties.

I feel this is unacceptable. The price is relatively pricey, customer like me expect the best service. We do not want to know if there's short-staffed or anything like that. Anomali misses our order PRETTY OFTEN!, so I conclude, they cannot take large order..

So, for the other customers.. if you only want to have a cup or two, go for it. Anomali Coffee tastes good, pastry tastes amazing.. but if you are with group of friends more than 5, ordering via online (delivery) please consider the other restaurant, it is so not worth it if they miss our order just what happened to me...

They used to be good several years ago when I bought kg's of beans from them wholesale but they have steadily become extremely average. They should try cleaning their machine every night and backwashing it every 1-2 hour with plain water. Poor synesso machine forced to make average coffee 🥴

Flat white is an oversized cappuccino.. do they even know what a flat white is.. size texture milk ratio etc etc or is every coffee in a takeaway cup made exactly the same regardless of what you order?

Has someone stole all their cups as they only have 3-4 on top of their machine. If I wanted a takeaway cup I will go to the 24/7. Their pastries are not fresh.. Alfamart is more fresh. The service is non attentive and its no surprise even Starbucks is doing better downstairs. They don't even sell their gofood coffee as they keep cancelling and only accept cash not gopay or ovo. The manager needs a serious kick in the butt! If they actually made an effort they might survive. After several years and trying many times to see if you have improved, they have dropped the ball so badly I will...

I usually stuck with the usual mermaid coffee shop, but given the meeting venue ard. Setiabudi area and the usual is rather packed, i had my caffeine intake here for a change. However, I suggest to find another place if you're looking to work fr. café and good hygiene is very important to you. This one's rather dusty, probably because fewer workers due to pandemic (?) Also, they provide no straw policy, not even paper straw is being provided which is rather annoying to me as i like my lips clean so i can wear my mask even cleaner. Nevertheless, you should try their Mocha with extra shots, probably the best i ever tasted. Definitely will have another cup and have it...
