Ayam tepi laut - Ancol — Restaurant in Jakarta

"Ayam Tepi Laut" in English means "the sea side chicken" suits the name as this chicken fast food restaurant is located inside Ancol, exactly beside the beach. The interesting name attracted me to try this one!

They provide fried and roasted chicken with many choices of Indonesian sauces and sambal. There are also beef and prawn for the rice bowl as well as some side dishes.

Here are what we tried!

Original B (IDR 30,000) This package consists of white rice, one crispy fried chicken, and beverage. For the beverage, we could choose either lemon tea or blackcurrant drink. To have the sambal, we could add additional fee. We tried sambal ijo, sambal hitam (petis), and sambal matah. My most favorite is sambal matah!

Sayap Ayam (IDR 29,000) This menu consists of six chicken wings with French fries. The price is so affordable! We chose sambal bawang as the topping. Tastes good and also recommended menu to try!

One of fast food restaurant in the Ancol area.

They have 2 places both indoor and outdoor area which besides the Bandar Djakarta restaurant.

The outdoor area has access to the bridge that can take you to get ocean view especially to eat there while enjoying the sunset.

They serve a little washbasin before entering the indoor area, every table is for 2-4 people and for the place itself it can be said as a big restaurant.

Toilet and washstand are available.

The food and beverages are good also they have many sauce/sambal to try.

For the cons, I think it should be more aware of the cleanliness there, lots of flies and mosquitoes sometimes and the toilet need to check twice or more to...

Karena pantai penuh plus gak dapet parkir mobil plus macet plus muter nya jauh gara gara ada konser plus cari cari tempat nongkrong yang nyaman akhirnya pilih disini.

Letaknya strategis dari gerbang timur saat ane masuk Ancol tadi tinggal lurus aja gak jauh. (Ane tadi muter-muter kurang kerjaan dulu)

Ane sama istri turun duluan sementara driver ane nyari parkiran.

Tempatnya luas bersih nyaman. Toiletnya juga bersih. Ane sama istri sempet ganti baju kondangan ke baju casual disini.

Di belakang resto ini ternyata nyambung ke dermaga. Jadi kita juga bisa liat suasana laut dan lalu lalang kapal penumpang yang bisa disewa sampai Sunset terbenamnya matahari.

Menu disini itu ada Ayam tepung crispy yang bisa beli satuan atau paketan dengan nasi atau kentang plus telor dadar. Atau mau beli satu ekor juga bisa. Ada juga Cream Sup, Sup Ayam, Tomyam etc etc etc... Sementara minuman nya ada air mineral kemasan, teh kemasan, lemon tea, black currant etc etc etc... dan kopi racikan juga ada.

Pesen macem macem sampai 9 kali bolak balik ke kasir (Coz anak selesai dari Dufan jam 5 an sore terus nyusul kesini, ditambah ortu dari sohibnya yang juga ikutan nyusul menjemput, ditambah lagi Driver ane yang tadinya gak mau ikut makan akhirnya mau juga makan paket D isi nasi+Ayam+,Telor dadar+minum)

Karena saking seringnya bolak balik pesen eh saat pesan yang ke 7 kalinya ane dapat potongan 20% hehehe... ya udah pesen lagi sampai ke 9 Kali.... (Anak anak ternyata doyan, terus minta tambah)

Untuk harga worth it banget kok, normal. Untuk rasa masakan nya uenaak 👍🏻 Recommended Sop Ayam, Cream Sup, ayam goreng crispy nya plus black coffe pake susu (request ane pake susu dan dikabulkan, padahal gak ada di menu 😁) enaaak 👍🏻

Istri sempat pesen sup ayam plus ayam goreng crispy lagi buat take away dibawa pulang (berarti pesen yang ke 10...)

Nyaman buat kongkow ngobrol sambil makan ngopi plus...
