The ambience at Barchi immediately sets the tone — warm, intimate, and stylish. The soft golden lighting, sophisticated design, and cozy seating make it an inviting space to relax and unwind, whether alone or with friends.

What truly elevated my experience was the staff. Both the bartender and the server were incredibly friendly and professional. They shared detailed explanations about the cocktails, ensuring I appreciated each drink fully. What stood out most was the server's attentiveness — they thoughtfully reassured me that Barchi is a safe space, particularly for women drinking alone. That extra effort made a world of difference.

As for the cocktails, they were exceptional. I tried: Urban Calm – Smooth, bright, and effervescent. A perfect way to begin the night.

Idle Lane – Vibrant, sweet, and refreshing. An absolute highlight with its raspberry and pomegranate blend.

Downtown Dusk – The perfect closer. Tropical, sweet, and nostalgic. It left me with a lasting impression of how well-crafted their cocktails are.

Been there on late feb 2024. Nice staff and they eager to learn and keep improving. We tried 3 cocktails. The sugus, kemangi and another with mezcal and soursop, forgot the name, all were okay. Nothing special at all. Most of their cocktail were lack of character, which the flavor cannot really make the main ingredient shine but covered by the secondary and tertiary element of it. This make rather unbalance drink.

E.g the kemangi, the name implies at least the smell and a bit of taste remind you with it. However, i cannot identify it. The sugus is too much coconut cream, hence cover what sugus candy taste like. I would say they need to improve their basic first. So the layer of flavor could rise instead hide it behind supporting flavor.

Barchipelago is a quiet and chill speakeasy serving Indonesian inspired cocktails. The staffs are friendly and helpful, the drinks are interesting but a bit on the sweet side. Yamko Rambe Yamko is heady with its almost incense like Papuan bark they used. Makasee is fruity and bright. I also ordered a bespoke herbal/sour gin cocktail which, came with clove tincture. It was good and I was happy they didn't jack up the price just because it is "bespoke".

Great music selection I might add and boy I was so glad they play music at normal levels and not eardrum damaging levels that other bars seems to like doing. We need more bars like this to understand they are a bar, not a...
