This is my first time trying hot pot, and this was a great experience for me. The waiter's service is off the chart, it's so polite and friendly. As for the food, I've tried the set and few additional. Overall, I'll rate it 9.2/10. The service, food taste, and price-to-taste ratio, everything's great. Will I come back and try hotpot here (or at least with Chong Qing brand)? Absolutely and definitely.

Canā€™t not compare with Haidilao just a few seconds away in MOI too, and letā€™s just say for Kelapa Gading area I will stick with HDL. I do think Chongqing in Pluit is superior, so I worry there is difference in quality between stores. Perhaps what didnā€™t help is the fact that the restaurant was virtually empty, so it lacked usual hustling and chaos of a hot pot place that adds to the experience.

Dining at Chongqing Hotpot was an amazing experience!

Food: The taste is authentic and absolutely delicious. Every ingredient feels fresh, and the hotpot broth is incredibly flavorful.

Service: The staff is very friendly and attentive. They were also happy to help explain the menu when needed.

Atmosphere: The ambiance truly makes you feel like youā€™re dining in China. The decor is beautiful and adds a traditional touch.

The food choices are not as extensive as the Senipati branch, for example the sweet potato wide noodle. The food quality is somewhat a little inferior too given the smell of the meat and headless tiger prawns. The service was quick but we were not given a bib in this branch to protect us from soup flashes. There are plenty of parking. Itā€™s kids friendly too. They take cards for payment and there are a lot of promos if you have their apps.

My all time favorite is the tiger prawn soup....

Decorations are nice. Lots of space to relax and dine. Noodles were soft and delicious. Spicy beef with noodles had an excellent amount of heat. Beef provided in bowls was not cheap quality beef. Dumplings were awesome. Cold Tea didnā€™t have much taste, but, that wasnā€™t too big of a deal for me. The air conditioning was good. Location is easy to enter and exit.
