Restoran Trio — Restaurant in Jakarta

Luckily got parking space +-100-200m from the Resto.

Very oldie Chinese ambience (love it!). Even the wooden chairs, remind me of my grandparents.

Service was good & staffs were polite.

Reunion lunch meeting with the Senior Ladies who had fond old memories of this RESTORAN TRIO.

We got quite plenty of dishes : steamed fish, fried prawns in flour, some vegies (broccoli, pocay, caimiaw). Lovely, yummy, nice!

For drinks we got markisa, orange, & tea. Fresh!

Total bills were quite something (BIG), but paid off by the value of past & present memories. They have modernized the payment system : can pay by QR Code. Haa!!

One thing to mention : street vendors & buskers were allowed to come in & parade around inside the resto. This was somehow quite disturbing, coz we were in the middle of eating & meeting up, they were asking for "money". Until the very end, they still insisted on their try & that was a disturbance.

Good restaurant, Excellent food, average price. The ambience is very classic, no aircon, 1970 styles of wooden chairs and table. not very confinience for hang around. You just come here for the food. The food however is very superb. Very good classic chinese food. You should try lindung cah Fumak (stir fried eels with fumak or indian lettuce), Lumpia shanghai (deep fried shanghai style spring roll with chicken and shrimp inside), Bistik Babi (Chinese style deep fried pork steak with their own specialty sauce) and Nasi goreng ham (Fried rice with pork ham). The price is average to high..but for me it is still accetable for the quality.
