I was always so intrigued by COFFEEBEERIAN, the lively café I pass by every evening on my way home from work. The place always seemed bustling with energy, drawing me in to want to experience it for myself. So, one day I decided to finally pay them a visit, eager to see what all the hype was about.
Walking through the doors, I was immediately filled with excitement - this was the moment I had been anticipating! However, my high spirits quickly dampened as I was met with an altogether different atmosphere than I had expected. Despite the café not being overly crowded at the time, the baristas seemed disinterested and preoccupied, hardly acknowledging my presence as I approached the counter.
A young female cashier lazily asked what I would like to order, her tone devoid of any warmth or friendliness. Unsure of the menu offerings, I tried to politely ask about their most popular coffee options. This prompted the cashier to call over a male colleague, who repeated the question in an equally uninviting manner. When I expressed my uncertainty, he bluntly stated that "everything's a favorite here" - not exactly the enthusiastic recommendation I was hoping for.
To add insult to injury, as I stood there pondering my order, the male barista proceeded to give me an obvious once-over, scanning my casual work attire up and down several times. I couldn't help but feel self-conscious and judged, as if my appearance somehow didn't meet their standards for a satisfactory customer experience.
Ultimately, I settled on ordering a beer, as it was the only item I could clearly identify on their menu. I was absolutely crestfallen by the total lack of hospitality I had received, especially given that COFFEEBEERIAN charges a service fee. Does the establishment really believe that a customer's worth is determined by their dress and presentation? In all my years of frequenting cafés, I've never encountered such overt discrimination and disdain.
I sincerely hope that COFFEEBEERIAN takes this feedback to heart and works to train their staff on providing warm, attentive service to every patron who walks through their doors, regardless of how they may be dressed. A little kindness and enthusiasm can go a long way in making customers feel valued and eager to return. As it stands, I'm not sure I'll be revisiting COFFEEBEERIAN...

They have the yummiest and affordable tapped beer, and their creation on beer x coffee named Black Pony is also delicious. I come here quite often because this place is so relaxed and nice to wind down after a hard day's work. Their wifi is also on a high speed so if you want to finish your work here, it's actually cool because they have quite a lot electric outlets and cozy clean sofas.
I ordered Moccachino because my alcohol tolerance wasn't that great to consume a half of Black Pony and the drink was also yummy. The consistency of chocolate liquid satisfied me the most. The servers were all relaxed and friendly. But their fabric coasters wasn't that hygienic, I wish they could change their fabric coasters into wooden coasters so it won't look that wet....
