CORK&SCREW COUNTRY CLUB — Restaurant in Jakarta

3rd time visits and came to this CS senayan on my friends special occasion & celebration but what i nightmare received were a horrable and terrible bad services and inconveniences stuff shown all staff upon very first arrival at 3:49pm thru my early dinner with friends.

Pointers:

Its CLEARLY mentioned upon reservation made that seats requested near glasses but what we had right away upon arrival was on stiff table in the dark hallway while others are unoccupied neither inside or outside. Unless I did raising up complaints and pushy, Greeter (Tiffany ?) wudn’t have taken actions.

Menu Roast Spring Chicken been chosen at my 1st stage order, but 4 menits later were informed its SOLD OUT / NOT available with reason “No Chicken”! Its just at 4pm, people just about to start having their dinner but NO Chicken available in the kitchen as a reason?, for sake of Crock & Screw brand and name ?

Later Appatizers were served (2 items), in the meantime we were enjoying them and chatting to wait main courses served, but SURPRISINGLY my main corse’s substitution which changed later than my friends’ SERVED faster. And what the MOST SHOCKING thing were, 2 main courses belong to my friend NEVER served after 49 menutes awaited and my food literally became cold UNTIL we raised question and called out captain and Resto Manager (Azhar) who terribly gave me the answers that waiters were waiting for our appatizer COMPLETELY FINISHED and DONE. What the heck! What SoP been applied in this resto?

15 years I’ve been in Hospitality industries, went to many fancy and fine dining restaurants, this is the worse services i ever had, this is TOO BASIC services been failed, ignorance and un-acceptable for me indeed!

My friends and me failed celebrating and these all stuff have ruined appatite, mood and joy moments which been well prepared since the begining. Kitchen’s Spv/Mnger informed that mistakes incurred from his staff during preparation our food, I DONT CARE! its ALL HAS RUINED everything on our early dinner with worse and horrable 49 Minutes are needed to get all foods/main courses are on our table.

Unprofessional and worse quality of services been shown in CS for a sake of your brand name Crock & Screw which REALLY REALLY SCREWED ME UP and Friends in celebrating...

A Dismal Experience at a Supposedly Premium Restaurant

I am writing this review with a heavy heart and a deep sense of disappointment. As a loyal and frequent customer, I never imagined that I would have to pen down such a negative review for your restaurant.

Our experience was nothing short of a disaster. We were a party of three, and from the moment we stepped in, the service was abysmal. The staff was less than attentive, which was shocking considering the reputation of your establishment.

My cousins arrived 15 minutes before me and were left unattended. No one approached them to take their order, leaving them in a state of disbelief. They were shocked to be sitting and waiting to be served for 15 minutes in a restaurant that claims to be premium.

The food delivery was another area of disappointment. The food did not arrive on time, and the coordination was so poor that my cousin had finished her meal before mine even arrived. Dining is a shared experience, and this lack of synchronization took away from the joy of eating together.

I ordered three beers, but only one was delivered. I had to follow up and chase for my order to be delivered, which is not something a customer should have to do. Later, when I reordered three beers and asked for them to be packed for takeaway due to a change in plans, the waiter simply took them back. This was not only disappointing but also showed a lack of understanding and flexibility.

My cousin, visiting from Poland, was shocked by the experience. She wondered how such service lapses could occur in a restaurant that is considered premium. It was a pity that what should have been a pleasant dining experience turned into a disappointing one.

In conclusion, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. As a loyal customer, I am disheartened and disillusioned. I sincerely hope that you take this feedback into consideration and make the necessary improvements. No customer should have to experience what we went through. I never thought the service could have gone any worse than that....

Part of Union group. Located in Senayan National Golf club, surrounded by many greeneries and having a pool, it gives off a Bali beach club vibe, a really comfy place to hangout. BUT sadly the food are kinda meh. The only reason I (had &) will be coming back is because of the vibe. Another annoying thing is that on weekends you can only order their brunch menu (other food menu are literally off limit) until 1 p.m.

💡Tip : do a reservation first (can be done online with Chope) otherwise you will end up with their beach seat by the pool (or not getting any spot at all). And being part of union group, it might be better to order their dessert 🤷🏻‍♀️

𝑪𝒂𝒆𝒔𝒂𝒓 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒅 - ⚠️ 1.5 / 5 💸 IDR 120,000 Grilled pesto chicken, bacon, romaine lettuce, soft boiled egg, shaved parmesan. With that price I expect it will be a bowl of veggies. But no, the portion is very small, only got few leaves of lettuce 😭. Can't taste the pesto in chicken, more like regular grilled chicken.

𝑪.𝑪 𝑮𝒊𝒏 & 𝑻𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄 - 2.6 / 5 💸IDR 120,000 (Left one in pic) Butterfly pea infused gin, orange peel, mint, strawberry, edible flower. Refreshing drink, looks pretty, but can't really taste the alcohol.

𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑻𝒐 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒔 - 2.5 / 5 💸IDR 45,000 Fresh carrot juice, orange, Yakult. Taste just like the ingredients. The carrot overpower everything tho.

𝑪.𝑪 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒃𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒂 - 🌟 3.6 / 5 💸IDR 130,000 Bucatini (thicc spaghetti), egg yolk, chicken, beef lardons (thicc salt cured bacon), grana padano, truffle oil, buttered crumbs. This Carbonara is how it's supposed to be (no cream sauce - that would be alfredo, only egg yolk and cheese). Huge portion, they are generous with the beef lardons, I get it til my last bite. Can't really taste the truffle oil. I personally think they should use smaller spaghetti coz this one got broader surface to cover & with no cream, it kinda taste dry.
