Din Tai Fung is one of the very famous Taiwanese restaurants in various countries and there are already restaurant branches, one of them in Indonesia has several Din Tai Fung restaurant branches. All food served here is very delicious from seafood dishes, meat, vegetables, dumpling especially with xiao long bao. Besides the main menu, the dessert is also very interesting and delicious. I am also among those who love Asian food, especially delicious and lots of vegetables of course. This time I was visit Din Tai Fung in Kota Casablanca Mall with my friends. From the menu we can see that this is for people with "salty" food preferences. There are many choices for that. As for people craving "sweet" food this place has limited choices, but many choice for the dim sum. For drink, I ordered Chinese tea - refill, my friends ordered Iced lychee tea and Ice Milk Tea with bubble addition. For food we are sharing so we can ordered several dishes likes; Appetizer : Phoenix Claw (Kaki ayam) quite good. Meat : Beef Sliced with Din Tai Fung Sauce (Daging Sapi dengan Saus ala Din Tai Fung), meat are tasty and chewy. Vegetables : Sauteed Spinach with Garlic (Bayam Inggris cah Bawang Putih) I love this vegetables so much, even though the spinach is taste good, but this time a bit bitter. Sauteed Water Spinach Balacan (Kangkung Balacan) most of Indenesian really likes this water spinach, likes I do...hehe Noodle : XO Fried Noodle (Mie Goreng XO) taste really good, of course taste of the XO sauce and chinese soya sauce. Rice : Din Tai Fung Signature Tri-Color Egg Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng Udang dengan 3 Rasa Telur ala Din Tai Fung) Taste good! Read moreConsidering the name, I expected the noodle to be delicious. However, grilled duck noodle (IDR67K) was below expectation, the noodle tasted plain, the grilled duck was fine. Prawn and chicken Kungpao noodle tasted better (IDR67K). It probably looked spicy but it was sweet (just enough soy sauce to make the sweetness nice and bearable for someone without sweet tooth). It was served generously with prawn and chicken and of course cashew. Spicy wonton (prawn and chicken) was savory and not as spicy as they looked like (IDR49K for 4 pieces). Manggo pudding was surprisingly delicious (IDR36K). Hot tea (refill) was charged for IDR16K, iced lemon tea for IDR26K, and iced lychee tea for IDR33K. It also charged for service at 7.5% of total price which was standard charge in my opinion. Service was quick and hospitality was fine. Definitely will comeback for mango pudding and perhaps...
Read moreThe restaurant has a modern and comfortable atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered their signature Xiao Long Bao, which were perfectly steamed with thin, delicate wrappers and flavorful broth inside—definitely a highlight. I also tried the Mala Chicken and Duck Fried Rice, both of which were generously portioned and well-seasoned. The menu offers a great balance of classic Taiwanese dishes and spicier, more modern options. Prices are reasonable for the quality, with bento sets available on weekdays that offer great value. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone craving authentic dumplings or a satisfying Chinese meal in a clean,...
