Garuda — Restaurant in Jakarta

One of the good Padang restaurants in the Kelapa Gading area, this place is on the side of the road Kelapa Gading boulevard. And, here's the review:

even this restaurant is on the side of the road but unfortunately, the parking space is not so many

they provide a mini washbasin in front of the restaurant and followed the health protocol

it has 2 sides of rooms (indoor and outdoor), two toilets also

good services, good food and worth trying, before they serve the food to us, the food is wrapped up with the plastic to keep hygiene but it has a high price on each food

many menus they served so we can choose whatever we want on our table

maybe the cleanliness could be improved in the toilet, floor, and the under...

Food was great with reasonable price. I ate with 9 people and it only cost me around 800k-ish though we ate (almost) everything on the table! 🤣

• Food : The champ was their Ayam Pop! Very moist and tasty. The oxtail soup could be better - meat was very tender and juicy but the soup is a bit too salty.

• Ambience : Standard restaurant Padang. Nothing special. Minus was they let people smoke in the dining area. Which is indoor area. Too bad there were some kids around 😢

• Service was superb!! I accidentally left something in the restaurant and they try to find it for me. Really appreciated their effort for this! Thank you 😍🥰

This is one of the famous Padang restaurants. Originally Garuda is from Medan city and they are very famous in Medan (North Sumatera) city for Padang (West Sumatera) dishes. This mean they're not originally from Padang. But the dishes are very good, very tasty. Price is very expensive when you have meal inside the restaurant. Price is reasonable when we do take away.
