I am writing this for the owners to see, so they understand i am not a hater.
I hv been coming to Gordi HQ for 2 years every now and then and i love the food.
Since the first time i know the cook service of Gordi can take a while even for a simple food like Quesadilla. But usually the “while” means 20-30 mins, so it was still bearable and i kept on coming back. Not only coming back i keep recommending the food to my friends.
Today I brought my friends, whom have quite an audience online, to hv lunch there since they had to make lunch content. There were 4 of us. We waited for so long for our food, 1 hours 15 mins to be exact bfr coming to the cashier to ask for our food. They didnt give me explanation except to ask me to wait. Another 5 mins passed by without our food, I came back up to them to ask if there is any progress. Continuing until my 4th visit to the cashier that they start asking the kitchen and gave me answer that they are platting out food. Another 10 mins pass by and the food is still not coming, my friends r starting to feel sick from the coffee on empty stomach. So i came back to the cashier and cancel all the foods. The cashier did cancel it for us without hesitation showing that they are no where near platting our food. 1 hour 45 mins wasted without getting any food, no explanation, or solution.
Needless to say i am very very disappointed and embarrassed bcs i was the one who recommended Gordi to them. Time that could’ve been used for something else plus content making for a job, instead, we got nothing but a waste of time.
I am emphasizing that I stopped my friends from posting about their disappointment on Gordi HQ to their audience on their platform. So you dont hv to worry about that.
I dont think i will ever comeback after this. But this needs to be known by the...

Beef Chimichurri with Garlic Rice for 83 K IDR, additional sambal matah for 8 K, and cold pressed mixed juice for 38 K.
The cold pressed juice is great, really great even, so eveb at 38 K for a single glass, one does feel it is still a bit worth it. Sadly i don't think the same can be said about the beef chimichurri. The tomatoes are nice, and i get what they are trying to achieve with the slightly al dente garlic rice, sadly they seem to have tried too hard to cater to a more universal palate - i really could have used a more pronounced herbiness or spiciness along with a more discernible garlic taste. Luckily the sambal matah is quite okay, although having to add 8 K to the bill for it kinda makes me wonder if i should have just gone for other spicier menus in the first place.
The chimichurri is almost okay, but they really should be more liberal with the mashing of the herbs with the oil - and add some more sharp tasting herbs to it as well please. The beef was even more disappointing as they only offered medium well or well done - a telltale sign of less-than-premium sourcing for what is quite a premium priced meal. It was quite filling, but even at medium well it was all kind of just grey and somewhat chewy. All in all, i will say that they really should amp up the taste profiles of the beef as well as the chimichurri to improve the experience.
That being said, the place is really chic - warm and comfy minimalist wooden interior with lots of great natural light. So i guess one does pay more for the right to hang around rather than for a great experience for the palate.

Gordi is actually a coffee beans subscription service (something like lootbox but in this case, they ship currated coffee beans) and thus the headquarter in the name. My first impression is that the place is super cozy, for chilling or working. Naturally lit spaces, chilled aircon, evenly spaced between seats. Oh and there is an outdoor seating as well on the grass but probably only for the weekend. The place itself is kinda secluded though, not exactly on a huge road, but the location in zomato and gmaps is accurate.
What I've ordered, filter with bengkulu beans, iced white, and espresso (i forgot the spro beans :"(. ) . For the filter, it is nicely brewed, although a bit too light for me, and the taste is not too complex, it's quite good for those who want to explore the world of coffee, but personally its nothing special. Oh and the price is quite steep though, 40k.
For the ice white, a strong bitter note, but still quite balanced with the milk, overall okay, and again not too special. But still quite good.
For the spro, the fruitiness of the coffee do appears very strong on the first sip. Finished with a bit of bitterness but still enjoyable, oh and it has that balanced mouthfeel as well which is again nice.
The baristas are nice and friendly as well, they will help with choosing your beans and such, oh and they do have a biweekly cupping sessions for their currated coffee beans,...
