Upon entering the establishment, you will be greeted friendlily by their staffs, however you will automatically realize that the concept of the place is a little ambiguous between a ranch cowboy look and a chic minimalistic cafe. Absolutely no complaint regarding their service and hospitality.
However, the food was too disappointing. As a big fan of bbq, meat, and everything southwest, I'm very flabbergasted that the meat they use was a thin sliced steak usually found in cheap steakhouse such as abuba/holycow. For 399k in a "grillhouse" i expect the USDA Prime Ribeye to be at least 2,5 cm thick, and it is very feasible because they claim the total weight of the meat used is 250 gr. Typical of steakhouse that use thin meat, my dish was overcooked, i ordered medium, but got well done instead. But the staffs responsively correct the steak, another point for their service.
Mashed potato was disappointing as well. I find it too rough to my liking. Should use a smaller pored masher. Tastewise, it was bland, even fish n co / smokey ribs have better mashed potatoes than they do.
Ribs was not as tender as other described. Some effort are still needed to pull the meat, it was quite hard as well. The sauce was the ultimate let down, it was too sweet, tasted like bottled bbq sauce. Even some bottled bbq sauced i purchased tasted better.
The only menu that was worth it was the Caesar salad. Fresh iceberg lettuce, right amount of dressing, bacon bits, croutons, all were just right.
Definitely won't come back again, too expensive for such inferior quality.
There are definitely many room for improvements. If not because of the friendly staff, i would...
Read moreHowdy's Grillhouse is a solid pick for anyone craving hearty grilled dishes with a fun, Western-themed twist. From the moment you walk in, the rustic decor and upbeat atmosphere set the tone for a relaxed, satisfying meal.
The menu leans heavily into barbecue and grilled favorites—think juicy steaks, loaded burgers, flame-kissed chicken, and smoky ribs. The portion sizes are generous, and the flavors hit the mark, especially if you're a fan of bold marinades and char-grilled finishes.
Highlights from our visit included the Texas BBQ Ribs, which were fall-off-the-bone tender, and the Grillhouse Signature Burger, stacked high with toppings but still perfectly balanced. The sides (especially the fries and coleslaw) complemented the mains well.
Service was friendly and attentive, though there was a slight wait during peak hours. The pricing is fair for the quality and portion size—definitely good value for a casual dinner out.

Read more1st time going here, tried the family serving with just 2 people eating. We almost explode lol🗿 jokes aside, everything was good. The chicken was super juicy, the fish was too soft for my liking but the tartar sauce was excellent! I didnt eat the pork belly, but my partner did, he liked it. On the other side, we thought the pork ribs were just okay for some reason, i think we chose the wrong sauce which is not suitable for our liking. I also found that a few part of the ribs were still undercooked. The mushroom and pepper sauce was really helping, even though it tasted a bit like bottled sauce. I think the mushroom sauce will be better if they used champignon mushroom, i just feel weird eating mushroom sauce using (cmiiw) shiitake mushroom lol! The ac was too cold, our food became cold very quickly. Overall, great place, can still improve so much, would love to go here again to try...
