IPPUDO Senayan Park — Restaurant in Jakarta

Went there for the first time. Today this afternoon. We want to try the 'no.1 ramen in the world'. We know they sell pork but we decided we DON'T want to order pork, we want to eat CHICKEN RAMEN. so we ordered to the waiter there (mas syp ga inget namanya I havent got the chance to see his nametag) we specifically said we want all CHICKEN. No pork, we repeated 3 times (my husband, myself, and even my mom repeated again to convinced the mas2 we want chicken meet, not pork.)

So the food came, it was late lunch so we were so hungry, we tasted the meet and it was sooo goood. The meet for regular size only 2 slices, so I ordered more chicken slice. The mas2 said another pork? I said no, chicken just like just now, chicken meet right? And suddenly my husband notice, it is not chicken coz it got a lot of fat and it tasted good. And so we asked the waiter, we ordered chicken, it's chicken right? And he said "no its pork" LOH?! we ordered chicken, and you know what the waiter said "tidak bu, tadi ibu pesannya pork" DIA NGOTOT LOH?!?!?!! There were 3 witnesses and we clearly repeated 3 times each of us said chicken yaaa not pork, and only he himself said we ordered pork not chicken. oh my... we were very upset KARENA DIA NGOTOT berkali2 masih bolak2 balik bales2an ngomong sampe suami saya naikin suara baru dia minta maaf. Masa harus dikerasin dulu baru minta maaf? And what we get? Only 15% discount and the pork is in our stomach, thankyou for the pork that we specifically said no, we dont want pork, but we ate it without noticing (fool us)

We were the nice guest, since the beginning, we talk politely, we ordered nicely, we smile to them, we paid for the food. No smile from any of the waitresses. And when I got out the resto, I said to him dont ever do that to other customer again, fokus kalo kerja dan gaboleh ngomong ky td krn akan ngerusak nama perusahaan. I said I'm going to give my honest review. And so we decided that we dont want to go there ever again. Sorry IPPUDO, you need to train your workers, upgrade...

I saw another review that said there's nothing special from the food and I have to agree with their statement.

Things that made my experience enjoyable, the view and the vibe. But aside from that, I expected more from the so-called best ramen in town.

I must say don't sleep on the gyoza, they're juicy and super moist. The noodle was decent BUT I wish they had better soup, memorable soup that's worth the price.

We had shaka shaka fries, two ramen, and gyoza for the total of 370k. Which I think stood on the higher prices ramen around. Sadly they didn't deliver their so called best...

One of the most popular ramen restaurant is now open in Senayan area. At the Senayan Park mall right next to TVRI building. Overall this place is good. Today I decided to try their new seasonal ramen The Spicy Black. To be honest it is not for my taste. Unless if you like mala hot pot. But this without the numbness taste. I personally prefer their shoyu ramen. Cleaner and better taste. Oh also another tip. If you order fancy drinks like lemon virgin mojito for example, ask the waiter to put less ice.
