The price for the main dish is still OK for Jakarta at least but if you compared it with other city, it's overpriced. The rice has a unique smell and taste but i think the portion is very very very small. The rice is Rp 4.000,00, its worth it if the portion given is equal to kfc rice.

The taste is quite unique, i never eat nasi uduk with bumbu kacang before. The bumbu kacang is good and free refill, its a good counter if you want to pay cheap without ordering the main dish. But if you were to eat the main dish without the bumbu kacang, its a little bit lack of taste. Especially for tempe, its very dry and lack of taste. One of the legend kebon kacang aromatic rice because the signage claimed it was from 1967. The place located in quite narrow street so it was difficult to park a car.

At the entrance of the semi outdoor dining area you need to pick your dishes like the chicken, tofu, tempe, etc. While waiting for the to fried the chicken, the staff will prepare the signature aromatic rice/nasi uduk. It will be served in a whole plate in a small portion (wrapped in banana leaves) and also you will get the nutty sambal.

Overall, the taste of the meals were just okay, I do like the nutty sambal though. The price for the rice is 4k/portion, 23k/chicken, 4k...

This is the place I call Nasi Uduk Legend because of it’s popularity in Kebon Kacang. If I may say this nasi uduk start from Zero to Hero. At the first time I tried this Nasi Uduk the place was only a food cart on the street side. Years later the owner can build a restaurant untik now.
