KFC — Restaurant in Jakarta

A rather small standalone branch of the franchise. Located in the middle of Tanjung Duren F & B district, serviced by TransJakarta non-BRT 8K route, and Mikrotrans JakLingko Jak. 56 and Jak. 30. It has a very limited parking space for cars, and a little larger space for motorcycles. A parking attendant is on the premises.

They open 24 hours but have no drive-thru service. There's only one entrance and it has to climb a flight of stairs, so, it is not disability-friendly. You can order at the counter or through their app. At the counter, they accept cash, cards, and online payment methods.

I came by at 10:30 PM and ordered through their app. Sadly, they were out of the upper thigh pieces and I was told to wait 15-20 minutes. I waited for 17 minutes, but, my leftover order wasn't served, yet. I asked the staff member at the counter, and it turned out, it was ready. I was expecting them to serve it on my table...

KFC - one of the oldest and favorite American fast food chain in Indonesia. The fried chicken is awesome. Years ago they said there were 13 secret ingredients. Now they said there were 11 secret ingredients. The two must be salt and pepper. 😅

My first time trying breakfast menu: the pancake is descent and fluffy. Cheap too! With coffee or tea cost IDR 18.500. They also offered bubur ayam, waffles, chicken + omelette and rice, and other breakfast menu.

Strategic location in Tanjung Duren. Spacious, kids arena, kids birthday area and very very small toilet. I mean extremely small.

The rest of the menu mostly consist of fried chicken (of course). They are guilty pleasure food! And to make it worse: KFCs...

this kfc outlet has two floors. the first one is an indoor area, also where the cashier and the kitchen is located. the second floor has an indoor and outdoor area. you can smoke and see the street outside from the outdoor area. they're spacious and relatively clean. they don't have enough parking space, though.

the chicken popcorn is tasty. it's crispy outside and moist inside. the french fries are good enough. they're not soggy and good to eat with the sauce. remember that the sauce is now limited. you have to ask for the sauce packages to...
