Never in my life I have to write bad review if things didn't seriously go south. I'm someone with high tolerance. Even the worst restaurant with bad taste would still get 4 stars from me. However, my experience here was anything but good. For an AYCE restaurant, service does NOT reflect its AYCE nature. Firstly, we ordered 7 types of meat, only 5 came. The second order, we ordered 5 more types + 2 from the previous order that didn't come. Everything came only after a "convenient" approx. 15 mins waiting time and 1 time of reminder from my end. Lastly, I tried my luck with the croffle that's included in the package.
Well... this one never came after 20 mins of waiting. And it's just one single portion. Meanwhile, the table across ours ordered 5-6 portions of croffle after our order, and they all came gloriously.
You know, if you have the whole day to eat there, all these would probably still be acceptable. But, just like most AYCE restaurants, you only have 90 minutes. So waiting on your order for 15 mins just feels like.... inappropriate. Will I go back here? Definitely NO. It's the worst experience ever. Bad bad bad bad bad bad bad and just so freakin bad service. I dunno what to say. However, the fact that I'm furious while typing this but somehow managed to not use a single exclamation mark just shows how "DONE" I am with this place.
Update: the tenant manager, who apparently was on leave during this unfortunate event, contacted us the day after. She apologized after checking out the order system input and CCTV and found that our complaints were indeed accurate. She gave us dining vouchers as compensation. Though, in my standard, this is not an ideal resolve of this kind of situation, I appreciate her efforts. I just really hope no other customers experience similar service like us. Read moreWe had a lunch meeting here and I think Kintan offers one of the best buffet value for money in Kelapa Gading. We ordered the standard buffet packages and they were more than enough for us. The meat was standard, some of them were actually quite chewy, especially the Rosu. They were not the best quality beef but they were good enough for buffet.
The restaurant was clean and the dishes were varied: from salmon mentai crunchy rolls, tebayaki, kushiyaki, salmon fried rice and beef yakiniku to three types of noodles: udon carbonara, japchae and spaghetti aglio olio with shrimp. The side dishes were superb: kimchi, pickled bean sprouts and spinach a la Korea.
We could enjoy variety of drinks also, from the usual sodas to cold ocha. There were colorful cakes and ice cream for dessert. Our favorite was the ogura ice cream which was sweet and rich in flavor.

Saya sering makan yang ada di cabang Kemang & Senayan, dimana posisi di 2 cabang tsb digabung dengan shabu-shabu mereka & sering kali saya visit di lunch time baik weekdays/weekend, but they served me waaay better than I experienced last night in this branch! Untuk 1st order, setelah menunggu kurang lebih 20 menit daging tak kunjung diantar, saya panggil salah satu waitress disana & tanya kenapa belum keluar juga orderan saya?! baru disitu mba itu ambil orderan saya yang dimana daging2 yang saya order sudah berjejer di kitchen counter mereka lebih dari 10 menit, tapi tidak ada satupun dari mereka yang aware untuk mengantarkan daging2 orderan saya tsb ke meja saya. kenapa saya yakin itu orderan saya? ya karna posisi duduk saya saat itu dipojok belakang persis di depan kitchen mereka. dan ga sampai disitu, setelah hampir selesai ngegrill daging2 yang tadi diantar, orderan pertama saya tsb belum semuanya keluar sampai saya harus manggil & tanya LAGI ke salah satu dari mereka & baru mereka antar lagi orderan saya. saya kira udah selesai drama per-orderan saya, ternyata ada lagi drama saat saya pesan croffle mereka. pesanan pertama (2 set) masih aman dgn pertimbangan waktu pembuatan croffle sampai jadi crispy (which is my plus point here in Kintan). HOWEVER, untuk orderan ke 2x nya, lagi & lagi saya harus panggil & menanyakan orderan saya karna sudah menunggu 30 menitan tak kunjung datang. Ohiya! kali ini saya & suami ga nanya ke 1 waitress saja lho, melainkan 3 orang berbeda dgn jarak waktu 5 menit tiap waitress nya namun belum juga diantarnya. alhasil saya & suami tanpa mikir panjang langsung ke Cashier buat bayar karna udah muak banget sama service disini. And the funniest part here was, saat saya lagi proses bayar, ada salah satu mba waitress yang nyamperin membawa 2 piring croffle ke saya & suami sambil nanya “permisi kak untuk croffle nya apa mau dimakan?” LOL shame on you!! so sorry tapi coba pakai logika aja laah 😌
