A Cozy Coffee Shop with Room for Improvement
This coffee shop offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with a menu that caters to both coffee enthusiasts and casual drinkers. The coffee is excellent—rich, well-balanced, and made with quality beans. Popular choices like the latte and cold brew are consistently good, and the pastries, though limited in variety, are fresh and delicious. The prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for a quick caffeine fix or a casual meet-up.
However, the experience is hindered by a few issues. The service is noticeably slow, even during off-peak hours, with long waits for both ordering and receiving drinks. The seating arrangement is another downside—the smoking area is cramped, and even the non-smoking section feels tight, leaving little room to relax or work comfortably. For those looking for a space to focus or unwind, the lack of seating and personal space can be frustrating.
The decor is charming, with a mix of modern and rustic elements, but the overall cleanliness could be better. Tables aren’t always cleared promptly, and the restrooms need more frequent attention.
In summary, this coffee shop has great potential with its quality coffee and cozy vibe, but it needs to address its service speed, seating limitations, and cleanliness to provide a more enjoyable experience. For now, it’s a decent spot for a quick drink, but don’t expect to stay long if you need space...
Read moreHello Kopi Lima Detik team, 10:00 am Fri 27 sept 2024 .
I recently visited your establishment and had a concerning experience. When I requested a dining cup instead of a take-away cup, the barista became defensive and argumentative, implying that I shouldn't have made the request. He also incorrectly claimed that I had previously asked for a take-away cup.
Instead of resolving the issue efficiently, the barista's demeanour made me feel belittled and stupid. A simple apology and accommodation would have sufficed.
To improve customer satisfaction, consider staff training on:
Customer service etiquette Effective communication Conflict resolution Empathy and understanding
A revised response from the barista could be:
"Apologies for the misunderstanding! Let me grab a dining cup for you."
I am looking forward to a better experience on my next visit!"
Or, concise version:
"Hi Kopi Lima Detik,
Barista became defensive when I asked for a dining cup instead of take-away, wrongly claiming I'd ordered take-away before. Train staff to:
Apologize Accommodate requests Avoid blame/defensiveness
Simple resolution: 'Sorry, let me grab a dining...

As soon as i enter the room, the stinky smell flew into my nose and the room mostly dark. They gave me additional bad experience with nasty nasty services. The crew talk to me like they did not want to talk or even tired of working there, it was become more frustating when i ask for tissues and He said to me to just use one sheet of tissue that wrapped the cutlery because it was rainy outside (The sane crew usually grab their umbrella and bring what customer need). The food was good tho, but i am not sure with the taste of the...
