MAGAL KOREAN_BBQ KELAPA GADING — Restaurant in Jakarta

I think this was our worst dining experience ever at Magal. I don’t know what’s wrong with the management, but the quality of the food has significantly dropped.

Starting from the side menu, the dipping sauce that used to taste just right is now extremely salty, and every time it is served, the texture and color are inconsistent. Additionally, the SOPs are not being followed properly.

As long-time customers, the reason we keep coming back is because we miss Magal’s food, which we used to find quite authentic. Please review the food quality. Even if your restaurant is not crowded, that does not mean that we, who are paying full price, should have to endure an unsatisfactory meal.

Lastly, even the coffee is no longer the same as before. It seems like the product has been replaced with local ground coffee.

Very nice. The food is nice and the side dish is very nice. The service is also fast and attentive.

[side dish] The lettuce is fresh [side dish] The kimchi is also fresh and yummy [side dish] The pancake is crispy (best one) They take my order and request well (without the need to remind) Very fast in cooking meat. Usually i finished 1 plate then the other just come [side dish] The sausage is also nice

It was the worst experience and food i ever had. I usually eat Magal at Senopati, compare to their standard it’s different than here. Japchae’s so sticky and little portion, we shared to 4 people and only got 1.5 spoon/ person. The korean pancake didn’t came out with the other side dish, we need to ask them and got so little 2pcs. Found something inside the coffee, the waiter said it might be the watermelon but how can it get inside?😅 the meat’s not so great, can’t taste anything too plain. Will not come...
