The Good House — Restaurant in Jakarta

Food was actually good. But the booking service was a bit of hassle. When people book the restaurant for a larger group, they should be more flexible in taking orders. We booked 4 tables, and wanted to have a pre-ordered set. The CS asked us to scan the menus individually at first. That statement shouldn't have been stated to us as guests.

First they wanted us to scan on 1 barcode on a specific table (we booked 4 tables, and they wanted to scan on the 2nd table only every time we wanted to order additional drink, which was quite ridiculous).

We brought a birthday cake and asked them to store in the fridge while we ate. When I went to get the cake, it was just laying there on the table and they said their fridge was full, no space. Well, please be prepared for larger functions. Thankfully the cake was ok and it wasn't an ice cream cake. Otherwise, it would've melted I think.

Then when we were taking photos, without asking they already cleared our tables. There were still drinks.

Overall, they were ok. Food was nice, waitresses were friendly. But the management should have more flexibilities and preparations. They charge the service...

An authentic Chinese hot pot restaurant in MOI Complex. Very crowded.

I am overwhelmed with the superb quality of the dishes! Wow! This is one of a few place where "freshness" is the key. You taste the sweetness of the ingredients starting from the tip of your tongue.

Here is what I tried:

Jagung telur asin: one question: how they cooked it? Sweet, savoury and umami in one simple dish. Simply the best - I just can't stop eating 'em! 😫

Daging sapi hu nan: if you want to eat beef without its strong beef smell, this is for you. So clean and delicious. Showered with freah red chillies, cellery, garlic and other herbs.

The hot pot: sayur asin and special soup: So refreshing! For the soup contain, I tried: pork slices, beef slices, lotys roots and fried tofu skin. All is good and FRESH! Such an amazing dining experience!

This is the place to go if you like Chinese hot pot. The main strength is its freshness! Highly recommended!

Very nice elegant clean & very well managed restaurant. It's a higher level Chinese restaurant but at about the standard price. Love this place totally.

Service is prompt, courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable, elegant & 5 stars albeit it's a bit tight, consider it's a mini 5 star joint with 5 stars service.

Food is great and very mainland Chinese style ... Only tried the small hotpot served is a very grand looking stove-pot. The meats are fresh and served on ice. Delicious indeed.

The tofu n hotpot especially nice. Will be back to try some more dishes for sure.

There's 2 VIP rooms with minimum charge of 1.5million rp. Would be a great venue to entertain guests that likes to drink...
