Hands down, easily one of the best ramens I’ve ever tasted and my personal favorite. I don’t need to explain further, you simply just have to try this one out. Seriously if you haven’t, you’re totally missing out.

Food and beverages: 5/5 For the first time ever, I don’t want to change anything about the food I ordered. Everything was in perfect balance; the toripaitan stock/broth had a delicious, savory, thick, yet not nauseating taste that makes you want to thank the Lord above, the consistency of noodle was spot on - it was thin yet not mushy and stayed the same til the last bite; chicken pieces was seasoned nicely and seeped well into the meat itself; the famous half boiled tamago that had a distinctive salty taste that just melts in your mouth; everything was just perfect and right-on foodgasm (especially the toripaitan stock. I had: - Zenbu ramen (chicken/spicy): It consisted of ramen, toripaitan broth, chicken char siew, meatballs that I assumed to be tori dango, and its prizewinning tamago. It wasn’t in any way spicy, though. -Tamago ramen (chicken/not spicy): Ramen with toripaitan broth, negi, and aoka seaweed topped with the specialty tamago. It’s easy to rate this dish as perfect, I would never get bored of this! Even my boyfriend ordered extra ramen since the soup was so darn good. Both ocha and iced lemon tea was refreshing!

Pricing: 4.5/5 You may consider this quite pricey but trust me since the food is that good, it is worth every penny. We both spent IDR 265k this time: Tamago Ramen costed IDR 77k, Zenbu Ramen IDR 99k, Extra Ramen (or as they call it Kaedama) IDR 14k, Ocha IDR 12k and Iced Lemon Tea IDR 15k (tax not included)

Ambience: 4/5 You can go to Marutama by two ways: straight from Sentral Senayan I or from Plaza Senayan (enter through Sogo GF, go down a floor, enter foodhall, turn right and go straight until you went through security; Marutama Ra-men will be on your left). Marutama Ra-men has standard japanese restaurant decorations which mainly consisted of wooden tables and chairs. There are no smoking room and the place is pretty spacious.

Service: 4.5/5 Waiters and waitresses were attentive and friendly, from the moment we walked in until we stepped out. The food came fast, only 5 minutes after I ordered which is a huge plus cause I was starving.

Highlight: Zenbu ramen is yum yum yum. Or you can order anything here, basically. Everything they have is great, you...

Finally got the chance to review this place. Well specially about ramen place I can be super picky. But this place obviously as what people been saying to be one of the go to ramen place in Jakarta ; I must totally agree. I’ve came here many times ordered few different ramen . From the basic one the shio tamago to the tonkotsu, and today I had the Yuzu ramen which was surprisingly really good. Based also with shio soup which is my favorite, the added hits of yuzu flavor and buch of lemon slices for added freshness. All works out and the results is a very refreshingly light ramen which you can enjoy in super hot day like most days in jakarta. Very tasty. Restaurant is clean, service is quick with added friendliness from the staff; what’s not to like. The only thing is that the restaurant is bit hidden. So you have to enter from foodhall go further in via the fresh produce isle and keep going towards the right where the fridges are for the milk etc . Keep going till you pass leko, and it’s on your left hand side you won’t miss it. I kinda like the idea that it’s bit hidden , just like how in tokyo you also have to walk through isles to find your fav...

After a while, a thought of visiting Marutama Ra-Men on a Sunday evening around 18:00 turned out to be a wonderful choice. The restaurant was great, comfortable and relaxing with attentive staff who are quick to respond. And the timing was just right, giving a calmer atmosphere that’s perfect for enjoying food while chatting with loved one.

🍽️ For my Food Experiences:

• Miso Yaki Salmon Set – The salmon was grilled to perfection, with a rich, delicious flavor. The side dishes complemented it well, especially the warm and tasty soup. Finishing it off with a scoop of green tea ice cream was the perfect ending — light, refreshing, and satisfying.

• Pork Zosu – A true comfort dish! The balance of aromatic freshness and broth harmony makes it stand out. Definitely a must-try for anyone who enjoys a warm and fulfilling bowl.

🛋️ Atmosphere:

Indoor seating feels cozy and relaxing, giving off a calmer vibe in the evening. It’s a great spot for both casual chats and...
