It was truly a nightmare and undesirable experience which I swore to myself never want to eat, order and even set foot to this restaurant.
Me and my friend came around dinner time (6-7 PM?). Not really crowded and we just want to grab food for take away. We ordered 3 rice package, paid, and wait at the lounge.
We wait for quite some time and long actually, considering our items should be just from the shelves. My friend ask the staff regarding how long until the food be ready but to our surprise, it was never made. Just after we complained, the staff prepare our order. So we wait there, at the lounge, for almost 30 minutes, with no other crowd, and none of the staff had the initiative asked us about our whereabouts.
But wait... There's more, we order 3 rice packages, divided between us, 2 for me and 1 for him. I got another surprise when I checked them at home. My 2 rice packages were only 1 rice packages and 1 with food only, without rice. How am I supposed to eat like this?
No remorse nor solutions from the supervisor either. Utterly disgusted and...

This Pagi Sore is under different management and is not part of the other Pagi Sore chain of restaurants.
The food, vibe and price are different.
I would not put this restaurant in the same category with other Padang restaurants which are more family oriented.
Upscale Padang : This is the restaurant where deals are made. Beautiful white and clean building, the staff are dressed in pristine white clothing and all the food are served on a spotless white plates.
This is the Steakhouse version of Padang restaurants. This is the perfect place to bring clients of high value for lunch or guests from other countries you would love to impress.
The food is good and not that different from other Pagi Sore restaurants but the price here is more expensive.
That is why I would only recommend this place for people who are about to close on a big deal or bosses who want to treat their staff after a...
Read moreVisited here because my friend urged me to try their Kemang branch. When you enter, you are greeted by the employee, and the atmosphere feels elegant and luxurious. You choose the dish behind the counter, and you can see that the place is spotless clean.
I ordered Nasi Rames with Ayam Pop (Chicken cooked in coconut curry) and Gulai Telur Ikan Tuna (Tuna Egg Curry). The chicken was very tender, and their rendang sauce taste unique, different from what I used to eat. These were flavorful nonetheless. The Gulai Telur Ikan Tuna stands out though, the Gulai soup was really good with rice and the texture of the fish egg. My bill at the end came out at IDR 115.5K. Still a fair price for the quality and presentation of upscale Minangkabau food at this scale. Good as representation of Indonesian food for...
