Pho 24 — Restaurant in Jakarta

To my taste, this isn’t authentic Vietnamese food. For the Summer roll, they used different kind of vermicelli noodle, which is thinner than the usual vermicelli noodle. There were this feelings of “the missing herbs” and it was to me was too bland. For the Pho, the noodle was overcook so they were broken. The spring rolls were too overcook too, so the skin was opened and looked black. I have complained and they were nice to me so they replaced them, however the second ones were also overcook, black and the skin was also broken. In the end I took a bite to give it a chance but it was so bitter and not edible. However the staff took the feedback very kindly and did apologies. These stars...

Service is not sharp and place doesn’t seem to be clean enough (1 of our drinks was served with a bug)

Soup and meat texture & taste are average, didn’t seem amazing; presentation wise it is nothing special

Price is actually quite cheap (considering it is Senopati area); some bowls range between IDR50-70k
