Remboelan Puri Indah — Restaurant in Jakarta

Famous for its Indonesian dishes, Remboelan unfortunately doesn't deliver the highest quality of food and service. The nasi goreng ordered came with tiny bits of jambal salted fish that was inedible as it's as hard as rock and could probably chip your tooth. However, when I complained to the waiters, they explained that the jambal might be stored too long in the freezer thus it's hard. Quite a fancy authentic Indonesian restaurant suitable for group dining. The interior has a modern Indonesian vibes and I have to mention that the menu book was very pretty as well!

Came here for family dinner. The food was ok. The Mie Goreng was a bit greasy, but tasted good. The Nasi Bakar Ayam Asap was a bit disappointing, it was different than any other Nasi Bakar I had. It had a strong herby taste to it, and it was too smoky that I couldn’t taste the chicken itself, it was almost like burnt taste to me.
