Family Lunch at Remboelan – Senayan City

We had a wonderful family lunch at Remboelan in Senayan City. It was a group of six: myself, my wife, our young child, and two household assistants. The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere — stylish yet comfortable enough for family dining.

The staff were friendly and attentive, helping us settle in right away. We enjoyed a selection of traditional Indonesian dishes served in generous portions. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, with beautiful presentation and just the right balance of flavors.

Service was efficient even though it was a busy time, and the overall experience felt smooth and well-organized. We also appreciated that the space was clean and the seating arrangement gave us room to relax as a family.

Located conveniently inside the mall, Remboelan was a great choice for a comfortable, quality lunch after a bit of shopping. The prices are slightly upscale, but we felt it was worth it for the setting, service, and quality of food.

Way too disappointed with this place. I ordered Manadonese yellow rice, yellow chicken with sambal mbe, black sticky rice porridge, martabak mini, coffee remboelan, and plain tea. Manadonese yellow rice way too spicy and my mouth burned, the fried corn was too cold and really hard to bite, sambal matah served with an almost stale shallots, really disgusting. Yellow chicken with sambal mbe, the chicken was so plain, and sambal mbe also being deep fried anddd all the ingredients really hard to bite especially the lemongrass. Black sticky rice way too plain and somewhat hot while the coconut milk is cold, very standard and even the traditional market could give me a better black sticky rice porridge. Martabak with chocolate topping wayyyy toooo damn sweet and I couldn’t even eat it. Coffee remboelan aa just so so and nothing special in it. The only good thing is their plain ice tea. Lol. Oh but the service was good tho, the waitress were very friendly and helpful. The place is quite comfortable but a lil bit crowded maybe because it’s Saturday. Probably will think twice to...

an authentic Indonesian restaurant with a really really pretty interior and illustration in menu book. they have the cutest menu book that i can’t find in other restaurant. the price were also reasonable for me.

in general i really love Indonesian food, and this restaurant offer many tempting dishes, almost all of them suit my tastes🤎🤎

i also got a complimentary because my birthday is within one week in my visit (i got a sweet and delicious Es Campur Remboelan). we also had a free Jamu drink and i loveee their Beras Kencur Jamu, the most delicious jamu i’ve ever try!!🤎
