First timer here and it did not disappoint at all!
Never really explore food options in the area but since I am recommended by friends of mine I tried it for the first time. We ordered the famous red fried rice, butter crispy chicken, capcay, and the hokkian noodles (not in this picture). One thing I can say its a lot of food and its all good.
The highlight for me is the crispy chicken. This dish comes with very intriguing flavor of just savory from the sauces, aromatics from the garlics, and being cooked perfectly crisp is just a recipe for goodness. A lot of people in my group also love the red fried rice which is good but sometimes it can get overwhelmingly too rich in oil so we need other dishes to complement with it.
The place is not too big however each person can sit comfortably without being directly elbow to elbow with one another. They also have a/c for comfortable eating experience and the staff are very attentive and helpful even with lots of customer needs to be attended too.
If you are around here, I highly recommend you to eat and try dishes shown here and let me know If you have similar experience here in the review page
Thank you Irtim!
Nb: dont worry about food serving sizes they have several levels if you are not planning to eat with groups .. for reference here I ordered the Jumbo Rice for...
Read moreCame here at around 8PM but the place is still packed. We got a seat at the 2nd floor, and we already ordered before we were seated upstairs.
The food took quite a long time, over 30 mins waiting I think almost 45 mins. And our order was only nasgor merah & ayam goreng mentega.
Surely their portion is massive, more than enough for two people if you order two main courses. Their rice is a lil bit mushy for me, and they are really skimping on the lapciong. The most generous topping was the meatball. With the mushy rice and the meatball, it was lacking in texture as it was all soft. Overall it is tasty, dont forget to use the lime on the rice and add the chili sauce.
For their ayam goreng mentega, its more on the dry side, in a sense that they dont serve it with watery sauce like most chinese ayam goreng mentega. But its still very good for me personally, though it can get fulfilling fast enough cause its a fried food and you really need something to cut off the fat (yea the lime, forgot to use that).
Would I come back again? Sure. But make sure you are not starving cuz it took them so long just to...
