Seroeni - Lippo Mall Puri — Restaurant in Jakarta

I went to Seroeni one week ago on Friday with my family members. The restaurant was well-decorated and it gives off a warm and welcoming ambiance which is perfect for families and friends to dine together. We ordered the Penang Char Kway Teow and the Orange Marmalade Beef for the main course and the Mango Tropical Pudding for dessert. Overall, I enjoyed my experience there due to the friendly staff and the delicious food that was served there.

My favourite was the Penang Char Kway Teow as it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The portion of the Penang Char Kway Teow was also quite large which is another plus point. The Orange Marmalade Beef was also tasty and the beef was also juicy and tender. Sadly, the portion was quite small which is quite dissappointing. As for the desert, the Mango Tropical Pudding was extremely refreshing as it was not that sweet and the slight acidity from the fruits helped to balance it out. However, I did not enjoy the Chrysanthemum Honey Jelly as it was way too sweet for me.

The only issue that I encountered was tge small portion of food that was served. Other than that, I feel that the privr was quite reasonable for the quality of the food and service the restaurant provided for its customers. I would definitely come...

Probably the best restaurant in Lippo-Mall Puri, it is a fantastic setting for a romantic dinner or nice occasion, really anything that photos may be taken, the only downside of this place is their food though satisfying and good isn't Great. The Drinks as well in my experience are either wonderful or lackluster, the coffee being particularly good. But these two facts are still incredibly acceptable for about 75k a person.

Location : In Lippo-Mall Puri it has a wonderful ambience, incredibly comfortable seating, great lighting and fantastic sound proofing to keep the noise of the mall out of the restaurant.

The Food : Very good and satisfying, though portions sizes are a little smaller and certainly not the best you'll ever had. Decent variety of dishes to pick from.

The Drinks : The most stark difference here, the drinks are either wonderful or simply not good. Their iced coffee and lychee tea has never disappointed me, but some of the other selections I learned to avoided.

If you are looking for casual fine dining , this is the place ! Good decoration , good ambience . When we dine in it was not busy , there are few tables. We ordered sizzling beef , nyonya laksa snapper and veggie mix stir fry(forgot the name) and oolong tea. The service is good , responsive and on point while serving food and drinks. Their tea pot is quite unique ,people who enjoy tea will like it . The sizzling beef hotplate is superb, beef cooked perfectly , tender on the inside and a bit crispy on the outside. The sitr fry veggie is also good, serving is a bit small , but still ok. The snapper laksa is a bit of a letdown, the laksa seasoning is all there and it was good but the fish could be seasoned more? The fish was just plain ,no salt., Even with the laksa soup i feel like it can be more flavour in the fish. It seems like the fish is boiled separately then mixed with laksa soup. Overall price is above average but still reasonable for casual fine dining restaurant. I would recommend Seroeni for casual fine dining date night if you are looking for...
