Shu Guo Yin Xiang PIK — Restaurant in Jakarta

I decided to try out this place after hearing so much fuss about this place. After experiencing actual hotpot in China, as well as the famous Haidilao hotpot, I was curious just how good this place is.

First things first, this place is really packed! It's very hard to get a parking spot, and after dealing with that you have to deal with the queue. During weekends, the number queue can reach at least one hour long. They do give you cucumber water for refreshments though, so that's fine I guess.

They have lots of sauce mixing options. Not as plenty as I expected, but decent and enough for me to make my own personal sauce that I like. As for the menu itself, I think quite decent, although some items I usually find at a typical Chinese hotpot are missing.

But overall I really enjoyed my dinner here. The staffs are very friendly and helpful too! Until Haidilao or other better hotpot comes around, or as long as this place keeps improving, I'll say that this place deserves the hype and I'll definitely come back again for more (not...

1.always love their pork bone soup,, So thick,rich,yummmy and really slurpssss. Their mala tang too its quite spicy,,i love it...

2.always order shrimp paste,,their shrmp paste from beginning always delicious and fresh made..

3.fresh shrimp Really fresh u can take a look at the dancing shrimp on ice

4.pork n shrimp dumpling.. Still one of the best too,,rich of meat n very juicyy...the skin dumpling was smooth too..

5.dont forget to order their Lo Han Guo drinks Its good ,,not to sweet n refreshing..

And Secretly their have hidden VVip Room.. Im just knowing that their Vip room was so Cool n Big,, that ambience was elegant... Their vip room can up to 10 to 20 persons...

The good place for hot pot and they already have 5 place in town, the first one is in Mangga Besar. Please ensure you make reservation otherwise you will wait quiet long. We order Jap Beef Wagyu, US Beef Komuri, Fish Ball with Pork Inside, Pork and Mushroom Ball with Mozarella Cheese inside, Scallop, Deep fried tofu skin roll, Mixed Mushroom, Mixed Vege and Coconut Pudding, all the product is great and fresh . We choose 2 combination soup : Chicken Collagen Soup and Herbal Soup, the chicken collagen soup is very yummy. The place is not really big abd just ensure if you bring the old people, you should get the seat at downstair because they have no lift and their staircase is to high.
