One of the best korbeq in Jakarta! Itâs been my all-time favorite ever since I first tried it đđŻ. I remember the first time I stumbled in here about 3 years ago. As I was just walking around PIK, unsure of what to eat, and decided to pop in randomly. Honestly, I didnât expect much, just thought Iâd grab a quick bite. But man, was I blown away! That first impression hit different, like a little kick that stays with you.
Letâs talk about their naengmyeonđâ¤ď¸, selalu pesen 2 bowl kalau kesini. For those who donât know, itâs Korean cold noodles, and trust me, these are next level. The first bite? Itâs like a flavor explosion that transports you to another world. The soup was surprisingly refreshing, just the right amount of tangy and savory. Iâve had naengmyeon at other places before, but their version? Itâs definitely one of the best Iâve had, perfectly executed, every single time.
Now, letâs get into the panggangâan. Juara, seriously. The meat here is on a whole different level. I could go on and on about the perfect char, the smoky flavor, and how tender each bite is, but the truth is, I donât really analyze every piece of meat in detail cos I just mix everything together in one big bite, HAHAHA! But trust me, even with all the flavors blending together, I can still tell how good it is. The korbeq experience at BORNGA never disappoints, each bite is a mouthful of happiness, and you can taste the quality in every piece.
Cuman ya, pernah sekali gw emg lagi bawa anjing sekalian, krn di PIK kan harusnya pet friendly kan ya, ternyata ga klau di sini, itâs understandable kok. I ended up eating in their private room with a minimum spend. But funny enough, seingat gw, minimum spend-nya malah lebih murah dibanding kalau gw makan di tempat biasa, hahaha!

   Read moreI first tried Bornga in Jogja and until today it is still my most favorite place for Korean BBQ. The fact that the one in Jogja serves the same exact quality of food and service proves just how good their quality control is.
What I love the most about this place is the plethora of Banchan that you can choose to accompany your meat selections. The staffs are also very friendly and helpful when it comes to serving you food and catering to your needs.
The quality of ingredients used in this place is always the best and I've never been disappointed with it. The ambience of the restaurant is also pretty much authentic to BBQ restaurants in Korea.
