Best restaurant around Pasar Senen train station.

This restaurant is relatively new in Pasar Senen train station. They specialty is ramen. They claimed that they are biggest and oldest ramen fast food restaurant in Japan.

I tried curry sugakiya ramen. The ramen itself is super delicious for me. The same with its curry soup. The chicken is very tender. And the half boiled egg is nice.

You can try their add on as well, such as takoyaki, gyoza, red bean ice cream. All of them were tas.

About the beverage. They offer ocha which can be refilled as much as you want.

Dining area is quite big compared to other restaurant around Pasar Senen train station. They also have electricity plug to charge your devices while dining.

Waiting time for dine in is quite slow but still acceptable. The same with table cleaning, quite slow but still acceptable.

Overall this is a must visit restaurant if you are in Pasar Senen...

It was like I found a hidden gem inside the train station when I was starving. The place is cozy. The menu is described clearly. The most important thing is that the shop is halal-certified. I found out that it was originally established in Japan. No wonder that the food is deliciously authentic. I was surprised with the takoyaki because it has a thick and crispy outer layer but very soft and melty inside. I ordered the Sugakiya Ramen, named after the shop and I was truly satisfied. I would definitely try the other variant of ramen next time I visit Pasar Senen...

Memang bukan ramen terenak di Jakarta, tapi alasan saya untuk tetap memberikan rating dan review untuk restoran ini adalah karena ini tempat makan top-of-mind saya kalau lagi di Stasiun Pasar Senen.

Dibandingkan harus makan fast food, saya biasanya memilih untuk makan di sini sembari menunggu jadwal kereta.

Enaknya di sini ada menu paketan, ramen + side dish/desert + ocha. Tentu saja ocha-nya bisa refill. Side dish bisa milih antara gyoza atau takoyaki, desertnya ada kurizen.

Pilihan ramennya banyak, ada yang signature dan seasonal juga. Overall sih memang gak terlalu istimewa, tapi ya tetap boleh dicoba buat alternatif. Favorit saya malah mazesobanya, enak dan gak terlalu manis banget. Miso ramen saya kurang cocok, kalau ini masalah selera sih.

Side dish-nya enak semua, mau gyoza atau takoyaki. Kalau saya lebih milih takoyaki. Nah yang perlu dicoba kurizen, jadi tuh soft vanilla ice cream dipadukan dengan kacang merah. Enak euy ternyata.

Misal bawa koper juga gak masalah, ada rak buat naruh koper jadi gak ngehalangin orang lain. Well, kalau lagi transit di Senen dan bingung mau makan di mana, cobain...
