Legendary shop that has been selling kuotie (a kind of gyoza dumpling) for decades. They also have 4-5 other dishes but I cannot remember what they are. We came around 5 pm to snack on their kuotie and I have to say it will be one of the most expensive kuotie you will get. Having said that, we tried their fried/baked kuotie and are pleasantly surprised by how good they are. Especially if you pair it with their chopped raw garlic and chilli sauce that's available if you dine in as condiments. I would recommend eating here vs bringing it home as the skin will become soggy and lose its crunchiness but at the same time there is no air conditioning so you have to eat in the heat of Jakarta. I use to like their single side grilled wo thie, it's always been the most expensive, but it had its charm. At 12.000 for a single wo thie probably earn the most expensive wo thie in the whole world. Price hardly goes down but quality fluctuates, taste was not as good as I recalled and hardly justify the exorbitant price. The 220.000 u siang niu ju didn't help either. It tasted like old unsold batch food because very few people ate here.

Unless they improve their service and upgrade their place, I would be surprised if they will still be in business in a few years. Their pork gyoza is well known but each costs IDR 12,500. A (small) bowl of steamed rice costs IDR 15,000.

The place is clean but very warm since they have no air conditioning, when we came I had to turn on the electric wall fan myself since the owner turn them all off.

There a couple of other gyoza place around central Jakarta that are cheaper, taste almost as good and serve their customers better than this one. And I suggest you go...
